Donald Trump Attacks Sundar Pichai And Google, Warns He Is 'Watching Google Very Closely'

Google and its Indian-born CEO Sundar Pichai have found themselves in the firing line of US President Donald Trump, as he fired off a series of tweets insinuating and attacking both Google and Sundar Pichai of flirting with danger.

Donald Trump tried to embarrass Google CEO Sundar Pichai, cast doubt on Google's dealing with China, and the search engine giant's role in influencing the 2016 US Presidential Elections, among other things.

First off, he suggested that the Google CEO had tried very hard to get in his good graces when he first visited the Oval Office. "Sundar Pichai of Google was in the Oval Office," tweeted Donald Trump, "working very hard to explain how much he liked me, what a great job the Administration was doing."

He further said that Google CEO Sundar Pichai assured him how Google "wasn't involved with China's military" -- this is in reference to Google creating a separate search engine for China, towing the Chinese Govt line on matters of state censorship, among others.

The US President Donald Trump also went back to unsubstantiated allegations and conspiracy theories of how Google tried to influence the 2016 US Presidential Election in favour of "Crooked Hillary", and claimed Google CEO Sundar Pichai told him they didn't help or work with Hillary Clinton or her campaign.

Apparently Sundar Pichai also reassured the US President that Google wasn't "planning to illegally subvert the 2020 Election, despite all that has been said to the contrary."

As usual, in what's becoming sort of a pattern, US President Donald Trump pointed at comments made by ex-Google engineers and an investigative journalist, Peter Schweizer, accusing Google and Sundar Pichai of anti-conservative bias -- where they "suppressed negative stories on Hillary Clinton, and boosted negative stories on Donald Trump."

Needless to say, the US President failed to provide any evidence to support his fresh remarks again Google or Sundar Pichai's conduct, which according to him is "all very illegal." He ended his tweet-storm with a warning to the Silicon Valley tech giant, claiming "we are watching Google very closely!"
