On the contrary the size difference is deceptive,most of your size comes from western deserts in xinjiang and huge tibet plateau both of which are low population.Our population,and more importantly working age population is rapidly outstripping yours.Your economy is slowing,ours is not.Until 1980s india and china had same gdp,you have only pulled ahead in last 30 years or so.Now we are going the same way.Its inevitable,because we have the size,the pop and the natural and human resources.There is nothing china can do to stop our rise.It will have to live with it.

I have to admin that our two countries believe in different philosophies and our two people have different national traits. While Chinese think an interesting game has just started, and Indians have already held parties to celebrate "victotries", and some even believe there will be no round two.

Chinese believe wars are the extension of national politics, and it is merely one of means to the end but not the end itself, but Indians seem to be itchy for the war at Doklam, that's why we have seen so many taunting from Indian members there days, including some respected elite members, very much like back ally trash talks.

It doesn't matter India will pull out next week or next year, Indian Army is a fish on the hook at Doklam, and serves as the justification for China's further actions, which have already started. Pangong Lake incident and the refusal to share water data can be seen as two of them.

I am just amazed to see how little Indian have learnt about Chinese and their government for all these years, and it's fun to watch this bizarre overconfidence from our Indian friends.
