Yes . We have Indigenous companies like Bajaj , Hero , now KTM is almost Indian . There are other companies as well . We have Research Centers to Track testing and every other facility out here . One is in Pune itself

That is great is this fully Indian design or is it borrowed design i know bike engine work all the same principle but i am talking about Indian name tag and their own piston design etc at least some slight difference to other engines. i give you an example the one coming form china or in pak will have 125cc honda engine these are the recent ones but they not the same as the 60s Honda 125cc engine that used to be on the monkey bikes and are of lower quality.

You lucky you got this industry do you people produce two stroke ??? they phasing them out but the were lighter n faster except on torque against 4 stroke. how much is the engine let say 500cc 4 stroke of your most reliable in gbp.

2 strokes Bikes are not banned in India but they create a lot of pollution and Bikes in India have to comply to Emission Standards . Production stopped just because they were not able to to meet the emission norms...

we had quite a few of them in previous decades.

I like the sound on 2 strokes., they were not fuel efficient but simpler design and to repair four stroke is bigger and heavier due to extra components to make it more fuel efficient but is more reliable. What it like compared to Honda engines reliability abuse wise???

You can Actually Abuse them as Honda Bikes are made for Roads . Our Bikes are made for potholes

Here uk ktm are value for price but they do crack the frame but most uk guys abuse the hell out of them for hill riding and jumps. back suspension make sure you check that bit that is first thing to crack at the point - engine looks great.

Yes true but it important to us our people love bikes if it was up to people to control industry rather than the big business man not interested but quick profit this would have been at the top. Let see this way how many time you go down the market and some guy with donkey is hurling away a engine on the cart??.
