We are currently developing (Might even be under construction) Hydrogen powered Midget submarine, Which will be able to carry 8 people.

Hardly, We have the biggest and Strongest Submarine force in the region (Beside Israelise Dolphin-Class Submarine). Greeces entire fleet consist of old 1200 model, They only have 1 U-214 and the others said to be resold to other countries. While our submarines mainly consist of more modern 1400 model, Our oldest 6 1200 Models will be replaced by U-214.

Turkey needs hovercrafts. nothing can replace it. it has some strength points like it's speed, reaction, maneuverability,going everywhere and ...
you can use your hovercrafts in whole your coastlines with no limitation. we have a good experiment, during iran-iraq war, abadan city was surrounded by iraq and there was only a way through sea to support resistance forces. only hovercrafts could do that and we couldn't use choppers.

Actually its the opposite..With modernized Type 209/1200(6), Type 209T1/1400(4), Type 209T2/1400(4), and new Type 214(6)(expected to be in service in 2015) we will have 20 submarines..Considering Spain has 3+4(under construction), Italy has 6, Greece 8+5(3 under sea trials and 2 will be built if not canceled due to financial crisis) i would call our submarine fleet just fine

Weird, I thought the Mid-Life AIP Upgrade Project was cancelled, From what i knew it was cancelled so it could be replaced by U214TN.

The project was to modernize 2+2(Optional)..As far as i know for the non-optional ones, modernizing phase is underway..For other 2(non modernized) they will be decommissioned after Type 214s introduction to the fleet

Edit: Did some research and found some blogs claiming Ay class modernization was canceled..But i couldnt find any official statement about it..If you find, i would appreciate if you share it mate

Nobody can claim that, we never have precise information on SF command equipment. I've heard that they have even better diving equipment than SATs which are specialised in underwater warfare Do they have mini subs? they probably don't, but I can't say that for sure. Classified sh*t

WTF Neptune, we have more German submarines than Germany We have one of the largest conventional submarine fleets of the world. As for dolphins they are pretty much everything Israeli Navy got yet too little, too few.

P.S. Atılay class will retire and make room for Type 214s. Our 209 1400s will serve well beyond 2020s, an AIP modernization may be considered for them in the future.

Thank you, honestly I didn't know that type209's and 214 were good. But think we should expand the fleet. Btw do have and data about the expected date to type214's entrance to the service?

Zubr to invade Greece I'd explain why this is so moronic but ain't got time for that, figure it out. Greeks have Zubr, there's nothing special about it. Just a cheaper solution to do what solid-hull amphibious landing ships do.

Turkish Armed Forces wants power projection in Mediterranean. That's what LHD's all about. But as Mehmetcc said, LHD can't afford to stay within the enemy's firing range. This is where LCAC comes in.

We need LCACs to keep LHD out of missiles' range. They must be short ranged, cheap and effective.
