Does PDF Do A Good Job of Representing Pakistani Society

İ am just being curious here. Does PDF do a great job of accurately portraying all facets of the Pakistani society??

Because we mostly see all of the educated english speaking people here. Kinda like how r/Turkey only has educated, english speaking Left Wing people on there.

And we don't get to see the people who post comments like Yes, Mashallah, Good, Very Nice, Rasool s.a.w sey kon kon pyar karta hai mera comment like kare etc under Haqeeqat TV YouTube videos. How can we get some of these dulhan bus people into PDF or get them educated. Like how can we give them access to things like udemy, Khan Academy or other learning services where they can learn English or any language they like, where they can learn about geo-politics, foreign affairs, science subject matter, true knowledge of the deen vs what the 10 pence mullah teach and pull them out of the darkness of being ignorant(due to no fault of their own). This might just solve Pakistan's problem of electing complete buffoons to high office.

Yes İ do realize my words are a tad bit condescending. But this is the reality and we need to somehow come up with a creative solution within our social and economic constraints.

PDF is like a a melting pot. It varies from articulation to trollism. We have some excellent contributors and those there are those that are simply here to have a go and "put down" anything Pakistan related. I salute those patriots that defend Pakistans position and are strong patriots.
180 million people have 180 million different mindset - sometimes sir its hard to be able to represent a whole nation but i think as a source of current affairs and what is going on in our nation - i turn to PDF to get varied opinions.
BTW the hatred some Indians have for our nation is clear to see and this site is educational for patriots to learn how deep some members despise our nation. An eye opener indeed!

İ totally agree with that. Seeing İndians up close in America. They're very much like how they are depicted in Star Plus. Boy the hateful stares they give to hijabi women.

Seriously though, IMO PDF is pretty much a reflection of our society in general barring English language skills. People who love this country and are concerned about. People with an unhealthy trust in Pak Fauj. People who surprise you with their intellect when they talk about complex economic, religious, social issues. Trolls. People with a healthy amount of mistrust in mainstream media and politics. People with blind trust in one political party or another. And a very few with some ethnicity based delusions. We have all these here and in real world Pakistan. Percentages might vary but not by much.

As far as educating our people goes, it has to be a national effort. Some people might not like it but opening up of private TV channels without any control has been a disaster. Musharraf followed the West blindly in this aspect too and the result is that our new channels are doing much much more harm than good. Every two bit anchor has an agenda and is getting paid massively to push that agenda. They are agents of chaos and anarchy.

People from a specific portion of Pakistani society are available on this forum. For proper depiction and point of view of every section of society, we have to give chance and voice to all people. The blocking policy of PDF is very strict specially against the molvis as compared to the chances given to liberals.

These are few factors which makes PDF not for every section of society.

I've seen a good amount of religious people active here. Myself included.

A current example is the tragedy that is taking place in India as we speak. I was reading (with concern and sadness) the current crisis with covid and even on a thread like this - a couple of Indian souls like for example Ghalib - attempting to make political scoring points and making it an Hindu v Muslim. I for one living in the land of reality dont know one person gloating or trying to take cheap shots. All i see is the pure naked hatred for the lack of attention to Covid by their leader and his henchmen.

Pakistan has indeed problems sir - some huge ones. Indians telling us our society is failing gives us the vigor and strength to keep the faith. It takes time and patience to turn the titanic around.

PDF disciplinary policy is not for me to decide. But İ believe a lot has to be done to bring more awareness and shaoor to our people. İ think modern technology we have could certainly help us do that.

Well İ think there are larger cultural things at play as well. We were deeply effected by the educational, economical, psychological etc warfare gora engaged in our region during colonization. We are unable to break out of that and have self confident. Our elite is enslaved to Gora/Gulf Habibi/İron Brother and our destitute are enslaved to the elite.

There must be some way we can end this cycle, eliminate this culture and instill shaoor in our people. İ think we can do this by doing public awareness campaigns, education (not the business like diploma mills) and other measures other contributors here can post İ hope.

I don't think PDF really reflect the true Pakistan. It is represented only by a small portion of english educated forumer plus heavily mix with many overseas Pakistanis who bear dual nationality whom I doubt really place Pakistan as first priority.

But it's good venue to share lots of information despite the trolling presence. But this is also where some fun can added in, right?
