I am familar with self hating Serbs, Jews, Russians, Turks, but is there self hating Pakistanis, or to be more precise, Pakistani liberals who blame Pakistani culture and religion for bad condition of Pakistan society and economy?

It's not so much self-hating but critical self-reflection of the highest order. There is so much wrong with our nation and society that us Pakistani are ready to work for change how ever difficult it may be. Especially the young. Part of the self-reflection is to list all the problems which have brought us down and that have a negative impact on us.

There are always a small minority who hate themselves and their nation, usually because it's not what they desire it to be. They disagree with the vision of the majority and are full of hate because of that.

Pakistan increasingly is seeing a new phenomena - people paid to express hatred against the state in the media. These people express hatred for their nation, it's people, their religion, even their own mothers if the price is right.

Some in the west suffer from a form of narcissism, which is then projected towards the east. Unfortunately, due to the nature of current world power, and the ability to influence through forms of media, that narcissism is believed as the ultimate truth by the less thought inclined.

I feel it's a very complex phenomena, which includes political aims and ignorant self indulgence projected on to the so called other. Power and influence comes and goes, but ignorance remains pervasive in one form or an other, and equally affects both sides of the perceived spectrum. In many ways, human civilisation is still very young, and ignorance only dissipates through under standing.

However, on the flip side, assuming civilisation is the key to moving beyond this brand of narcissism, then the east is indeed more advanced as a civilisation, and perhaps needs time to adjust.

All said and done, fear and greed exist equally among all.

we call those self hating peoples "khooni Liberals" in urdu khooni means bloody , those people want nothing but blood of their fellow citizens

It depends upon the subject in past they used to downplay islam and our culture to further their evil designs but now out of nowhere they have become top supporter of islamic hardliners they are in cahoots with them to topple his government.
They are out of their closet. Everything that was 'no go area' is 'kosher' now. Name calling overseas residents , misogyny, blasphemy card, hate speech etc. Feels good to have correctly identified these local collaboraters group under garb of liberalism, years ago.

My Pakistan friend, thats people I have been talk about. There is hundreds of them in Serbia too. They hate our country by enjoy rich and elite life in Serbia.

I blame aliens for all our woes. What a stupid thread, we are responsible for our woes, if not us then what? Criticizing norms, culture, or the way religion is handled, doesn't mean you're a self hating guy.

A person who hates Pakistan, its ideology and what it represents would either only talk smack about it all day or not care enough to give a smack, most likely enjoying life as a foreign citizen.

FYI, on this forum, most of the people "deep in love with Pakistan" are sitting outside on foreign citizenships having had sworn in court to uphold that country's interests. Yeah, I am sure they care : )

Go figure.
