Omer if you remember we go way back on this forum. Omer you had always been favorite of mine but honestly i can't agree with you over WOT solutions with due respect. Omer i would never want to hear something naive from a member of your caliber who would mix Pakistan situation with IRAN or Turkey. Reason is that Iran ports were for no use to USA Iran doesn't share this route Iran had always been hostile to USA. Iran routes are way expensive for USA and NATO . Turkey is way on the other side and doesn't share any boarder. but Pakistan does and it had no options Pakistan had weak Airforce and we were no match in 2001 with NATO and USA forget nato even alone USA. second China had also favored USA's WOT. UN passed resolution on Afghanistan war. Pakistan pushed Talibans hard and very hard on giving up OBL. Pakistan delayed the action for over a month on Afghanistan. When Pakistan was failed by Talibans "so called friends of Pakistan who attacked Pakistani forces 3 times on durent line" Pakistan had to give in. But this entire NATO supply route is the best Yakka given to Pakistan by Musharraf. Now you wanna see what Pakistan got? Take tanks? Pakistan got military sanctions waved and Musharraf went himself to Ukrine for Engines of Alkhalid and Zarrar, Musharraf went to Russia and solved JF17 engine problems as " parts which are used and remember when China was having hard time to Pass technology to Pakistan"? Pakistan had 10-30 Nuclear weapons! When Musharraf left we had over 200 plus warheads and it is his blanket that he gave us and now we are up to 400 warheads as many reports suggest, As far as drones are concerned Pakistan had no newer F16s if you remember. our fleet was being updated and half of them weren't even in service. we had aging f7s at that time 2004 We were in no position what so ever to challenge NATO/USAF what we could have done and we did was extreme protest and it worked. If you also remember that it was 2004 when Pakistani forces attacked Nato forces on boarder region after drone attacks. We suspended Supply route once in his time that no one talks about now. If you remember after every drone attack some how Talibans wink wink used to burn entire nato supply and in some cases 2-3 straight supplies were burnt. some were looted and Pakistan SSG were equipped by american guns!!! How can you forget all this OMER how can you not pay attention to this? I mean you are a senior member who had been on this forum for longest time. There was time on this forum when you were pro Musharraf. When West blamed Musharraf for double game i strongly believe that they were right because he beautifully played them very well and they were played. now when advani talk he say that Musharraf was turned red and he was heated over Dawood ibraheem " do you still believe that Musharraf was a lame President the one he is blamed for by his opponents?" When omerullah Saleh and Karzai say that Musharraf ripped papers and banged on table and said do you think Pakistan is banana republic? yet he is still lame person or coward!!! Answer is no, There is a tin line between brave and stupid and surely Musharraf knew very well where those lines are drawn and he was tough when he needed to be and he was humble when he needed to be. So what if USA didn't give Pakistan drones? it was Musharraf time when Pakistan started to built with turkeys help and opened this field and Inshah Allah very soon Pakistan will surprise the world with her own version of Drones.
