Too much useless debates in democracy means that people start venting their subconscious frustrations in areas where there is nothing to get triggered about.

This is what has been happening in the US and everything that they propagate around the world. Feminism and SJW worship is the biggest and most socially destructive export of that country to numerous ones around the world who worship the so-called liberalism.

Liberalism is supposed to fight for allowing everyone to express themselves. Not be just heard oneself and shut down everyone else's rights.

Societies tend to go from one extreme to another.

Westerners used to be racist and extremely snobbish just 7 decades back. Then they turned Uber-liberal and went on the other end of the spectrum. Because of the damage of extremities in their belief, they will again swing on the other side.

Unless any society balances itself, it will never come out of this cycle of extreme actions and extreme results.
