LoL, one official from Pk said that the radar was in rest/off during that time as I read in one BD news paper, cos they did not anticipate any threat from the West. Now another official is saying that radar was working fine. Why does Pakistan always come with a lots of confusions and discrepancies?

Believe me, I've met a lot of fine, thoughtful Pakistani people here and on other forums. I feel badly, because Pakistan is in a no-win situation with this raid. Once again, a majority of good people get hosed by a minority.

In the same way that I try and face criticisms and uncomfortable realities with regards to my own nation, things like the shame of Abu Graib, it'd be best for Pakistan to do the same with Pakistani problems, and the OBL episode is one of them. Blind nationality is poison.

Only approaching this type of thing rationally can progress be made. It'd be a shame to trash what relationship exists, but there should be accountability on both sides with regards to the WOT.
