Serious question, although I doubt I will get a serious answer: all humanity originated in Africa, so no population can be considered truly "indigenous" to a particular geography.
You wont get a serious anwer because you are talking from your rear end. You are trying to justify the mass immigration of people who have 0 connections with palestine. You sir....... , you are a clown !

This is not really about Israel existence but Zionist state which is not approved by God.

Israel many years ago during Moses/Jesus eras is NOT the same as Israel today.

Hello @orangzaib ,

I definitely believe that Israel is a recognized democratic nation that has a very productive interaction and relationship with most of the world. In regards to the Palestinian issue, I believe that the framework for a two state solution can be ironed out as soon as the environment around Israel is warm, positive. You as well as I know that the majority of the nations around Israel do not recognize the existence of Israel, have no formal diplomatic links with each other; case in point the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which does not officially recognize the State of Israel.

I believe that a culture of understanding needs to exist -- needs to be sown so that regional neighbors recognize Israel's existence, and can eventually talk about the Two State Solution, without the worry and concerns of existential threats. I understand that Palestinian people have rights to the land in Gaza, West Bank and even territories within Israel.

What I believe should be done to foster engagement:

1) Palestinian recognition of the State of Israel

2) Israeli recognition of the State of Palestine

3) Establishing of set boundaries, and shared patrol of common border

4) The evacuation of Israeli military forces form Gaza and West Bank

5) Termination of the naval blockade of Gaza, restoration of port trade for Gaza

6) Israeli investment of Palestinian infrastructure

7) Increase the development of schools, universities, hospitals in Palestine

8) Investment of irrigation methods in Gaza and Palestine, produce land reclamation projects

9) A directive to encourage member states of the Arab League to recognize the existence of the State of Israel, establish diplomatic relationship with Israel

10) Eventual consideration of dual Palestinian - Israeli citizenship , with all rights included
Nice dream and it will stay a dream.
Neither side will ever accept.
Peace (real peace)between Israel and the Arab nations is no more possible.

Yes, I do. Palestine, as a state, have a right to exist alongside with Israel.

In my opinion, a Two State Solution is imperative.
But her (Palestine) right to exist is not being recognized or enforced. How long it took by the United Nations to endorse/enforce the creation of Israel? and how long it has taken by the same body to enforce the creation (ironically not on her own land, it is occupied by Israel, but on the Jordanian land i.e. West Bank, and Egyptian land i.e. Gaza) of Palestine.

So question is not of Israel has the right to exist or not, but whether Palestine has the right to exist or not.

The Palestine as well as Israel has every right to exist. But Israel is stealing land from Palestine and causing problems in the middle east. If Israel give Palestinian land back and recognize Palestine, give rights to Palestinian people. They should invest in infrastructure of Palestine too after all these bombings and killings.

@Nihonjin1051

It isn't a direct question, I recommend that you read my post again. I also feel it's inappropriate considering the reality on the ground and sure others feel so too.

You did not clarify anything. Two state solution has nothing with your broad inappropriate question. I still don't get why you created this thread. If you're trying to make a point stop being a coward and do so.

Here it is once again anyways:

Your question makes no sense, it is tinkering around with the English language to put up a cleverly worded question meant to allow Israel to continue its current colonial project Palestine by throwing up a meaningless question which isn't well defined. It is often used by apologists for Israel.

The better question would be:

'Do you believe Israel in its current state is an illegitimate state?'

..............
And if someone gave an answer saying no. Then that is your answer. You can't try correcting him by citing international consensus or documents. Because you are asking for his personal belief. I'm assuming that would mean you would almost want to observe peoples personal beliefs.

But, it seems to be the opposite, people try tying it to multiple premises which seems like an intent to confuse people to me. It is a question that is posed to leave people to try to guess why it's adopted.

When I read your title, I don't know what that question means. Does it mean any of the following:

-Do you believe in Israel as a Jewish state?
-Do you believe in the current Israeli borders?(They don't declare them)
-Do you believe in an Israel that defines in it's constitution(Doesn't exist) what a 'Jewish' state means?

...............

Etc... Etc...

You see what I did there. I made your whole question unjustifiable. It is illegitimate. It has no specific clear point. Because I know what your intent is in asking this question. It is a trap, and whoever came up with this question/ploy was clever.

.................

So one thing I want to tell you is, when you are asking your 'Middle Eastern' colleagues this question. Know that we don't like playing these games. If you want to our input, you gave us a specific question. You tell what you hope to gain out of this question. You also need to justify why you're asking such a question which Israeli apologists use to evade the reality on the ground of an ever necessary peace.

So question is not of Israel has the right to exist or not, but whether Palestine has the right to exist or not.

The UN endorsed the creation of Israel and Palestine simultaneously. It never enforced the existence of either state. That's why Israel's acceptance of the UN decision, and subsequent victory in war, resulted in Israel's existence, and the Arab rejection of the declaration, and defeat in war, resulted in no Palestine. Arabs have the choice of either fighting for a state (the strategy for the last 66 years), or creating a state through diplomatic means (never tried before, since Oslo was blown up by suicide bombers). As long as Arabs choose the option of fighting, they must necessarily accept the result of losing. Maybe the results will change, but remember Einstein's definition of insanity.

Serious question, although I doubt I will get a serious answer: all humanity originated in Africa, so no population can be considered truly "indigenous" to a particular geography. Therefore, that designation is arbitrary. How long do Jews have to live in Israel before they are considered indigenous to the area, as are Arabs to North Africa, or Turks to Turkey?

Are you justifying the Zionist occupation of Palestinian land based upon the argument that since no one group of people are indigenous to any particular territory thus it is completely alright to displace one group of people by inserting a completely alien group of people into their land through the use of terror, coercion, intimidation and forced expulsions for ethnic cleansing??

As an American, and looking at the examples of the North America, South America, Northern Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Yugoslavia, the Arab domination of North Africa, etc., one would be hypocritical and delusional if one didn't acknowledge the ample precedents for such actions.

He's Indian but doesn't put flag of origin up.

There are many barriers in the ground -- but I believe that it can be realized. In the end we have to acknowledge the fait accompli . There are over 6 million Israelis in Israel, and that there are close to 5 million Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

I'm actually all ears to hearing the sides discourse their points. I want to hear the hypotheses in how a Two State Solution can be realized.

The Zionists should go back to 1967 borders
