It was a in 1990s. Low altitide air defence systems can easly destroyed A-10..Also 50k$ Igla or Stinger may hit 10 millions $ aircraft. They are flying in verry low altitude.
May be we need them for antiterorism, I am not sure

Turkiye'nin milli savunma stratejisi uretime dayali. Bundan dolayi Turkiye'nin ABD'den kullanilmis A-10 alacagina ihtimal vermiyorum.
Ancak Turkiye isterse kendi imkanlariyla bu ucaklardan yapabilir. Hem TFX projesine baslamadan once jet motorlu bir savas ucagi tecrubesi faydali olur. 20-30 tane A-10 turevi uretsek, zararimiz olur mu?
