I hold utmost respect for my brothers and sisters in uniform.They are among the best of us, however i wouldn't support any Martial Law.

What we need is a reformed democratic system. We have come a long way and these turbelent times are part of our nation'a political evolution.

Martial law is thousand times better than democracy.

But right now our military is giving chance to democracy to solve their problem asap.
A very wise decision indeed!
otherwise they always cry that they dont give chance to democracy to grow in Pakistan.

Army has saved Paksitan from many crisis and InshaALLAH will do the same again.

I agree.
Another reason for not wanting Marshal Law is that the Army is already very occupied and this is not a good time to give the Army such a burden. Afghanistan may become very unstable when the US leaves, India isn't making things easier on the East and Operation Zarb-e-Azb is still in progress. The Army is supposed to keep the country safe from hostile nations and terrorists, not politicians.
Though it is worth noting that the country becomes a lot more stable and less corrupt during Marshal Law.

On top of it all we always use the army for our convenience. We want them to come and clean the mess and then blame them for staying there. We are very lucky that we have had dictators who were of a more political mind then many dictators around the world. Army becomes extremely maligned when they come in power. Its best for them and for our future and for our political future if they stay out of it. Let them focus on our defense needs and leave them to it without disturbing them.
We will handle our mess and we will handle our politics ourselves while we support our troops as they keep us safe from enemy threats.

I think you guys are confusing martial law with military dictatorship.

The only institution which is loyal to Pakistan is PA & I support PA's every step, INSHAALLAH when they take over they will have my full support because my Pakistan is more important to me than corrupt political laws & constitutions which are always changed by corrupt politicians so that they can only increase their powers & continue to harm Pakistan & do mega corruption.

Its amazing that they still fail to get that the only status quo in Pakistan from the day Ayub illegally took over has been Army. A big NO to another criminal attempt at Martial Law.

Still think that the indiscriminate live firing, killings and detention that is happening in "Roshan" Pakistan is the Pakistan that Jinnah had envisioned Sedqal? You had always insisted on PMLN being a manifestation of that vision.

Would love to hear your thoughts on that.
