As a Jat, i dont get your point. Brahmin in our villages are totally dependent upon other community to help them out. Some have succeeded in life just like Jats have. Else we have social fabric where everyone is depended uupon each other.

It is always amusing to me when Pakistanis bring up the role of Brahmins whenever they talk about Hindus. I always wonder if they are really ignoramuses or acting to be one. In South India where I come from Brahmin population is so small they are irrelevant politically. It is Vanniyars, Goudas, Reddys, Kapus, Kammas, Nairs, Nadars etc who call the shots and Hinduism thrives in South India.

I have’nt mentioned anyone else, in a religious or ethno-cultural context. My point was only against those simple (possibly immature) people who take their validation from foreigners who hated all of us anyway.
