Do Indians and Pakistani really understand each other?

India is always obssesed with harming Pakistan there is no other word about it.

As far as common people both countries, they have their own problems and even dont bother about each others' country.

Thats precisly what ISI and RAW are paid for. Hurt each others national interests.

A common man will hanve much smaller issues to take care of in his life.

Indians are too obsessed about Pakistan. Their news covers 50% on Pakistan. Their forums all discuss Pakistan, their movies have anti-pakistan themes. Look at this very forum...60% Indians here more than PAKISTANIS.

There were 2 things I wanted to convey. 1 we have false perceptions about each other 2 we want to live with that perceptions and not trying to get to reality. What I want to request members to try to understand people first, if we do that we can progress on meanigful discussion. What is been seen on multiple thread is we continue to discuss with closed mind
making the discussion useless.

The point is we both know our waters and we both know there is no honesty to bridg the gap. On forums we only are here to counter each other simple as that.

Indians and Pakistanis understand each other on personal level but not on political level. i think, this is my experience, that we easily make friends with each other. we get along in no time and feel like nothing strange about each other with respect to other people from other cultures. some may disagree but this is my observation and experience.

Valid observation, and the lack of understanding on the political/national level continues to be highlighted in this thread.
