Do Indians and Pakistani really understand each other?

I am 48 yrs old and spent half outside Pakistan . Some of my best friends are Indians . My teacher who I owe a lot is Indian Parsi from Bombay ( now British ). We were a single country, have common history, culture. We r neighbours so we r stuck with each other. We have already wasted more then 60 years in hatred.
We say u and u say we r obssessed with the other. Both r right and we should be obssessed with each other because we have to live together.
Many of us hate u and vice versa , some have reasons others brainwashed.
Why we r friends away from home but enemies at home??
I don't know how we will solve our issues.
Please note I am not mentioning the past because it makes present worse so lets avoid it. Is right when we r going to make our children suffer because we did so.
Media is the key. If media prints shows only positives for the next say five years and no so called negative breaking news things will get better.
Until Bombay things were Ok Pakistani felt with the Indians but the subsequent media trial has brought us to present level. Indian ministers specially can improve things if they avoid making media statements of severe consequences.
My personal opinion is that India collectively has more resposibilty and role to bring peace and prosperity to this area but this they must realize cannot be done by the size of India or it's army, airforce and money. Example USA and Cuba.

2. There u r...... steakholder........I discussed history bcoz u and me were not present at that time. Its history, our grand parents told us that what happened.

4. Lahore attacks and others, I can also say that suely India is involved if I adopt the theory of third eye. But I'm not saying it. It will be cleared to all after sometime as 9/11 is cleared. They blame Muslims but their own analists clear the situation.

5. We are not talking abt one's love or hate. Muslims view abt this world is very different. Its another debate. I don't hate India bcoz its also created by Allah Almighty who creates all of us. I hate the works and policies of India.

If muslims are the biggest stars then what? They earn this. It doesn't mean that Indian media got the right to do all what it is doing.

6. Kashmir sb janty hay k sb ki jaan is ma kyun ari hay. You can have a look on "7 solution to kashmir problem". The freedom fighters are also kashmiries and muslims. We cannot leave them. Have a look on muslim history and u'll find that when any muslim call other muslim what happen next............

Indians are too obsessed about Pakistan. Their news covers 50% on Pakistan. Their forums all discuss Pakistan, their movies have anti-pakistan themes. Look at this very forum...60% Indians here more than PAKISTANIS.

Agreed.. definite obsession... I think indians have superiority complex..when talking to pakistan.. Its like the neighbours in the slum..one of them gets more money ..he behaves differently..

Similarly we do not accept ..but its true we try to counter China..

While i think India Pakistan is in fact enemy on state level but we do have some understanding.We never bombed each other civilians during any war..

The truth of the matter is that Pakistanis want ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with india. Indians have more of an inferiority complex than a superiority complex. They somehow think they can have a leverage but in reality India has no leverage over Pakistan.

Try your superiority complex over Bangladesh, it is surrounded in all 4 corners by India and leave us Pakistanis alone.

And quit being obsessed over 1947, no Pakistani on earth would want to call himself/herself indian. We are Pakistanis and we are proud of it, we are the ones who broke away from you not the other way around so tell me who has inferiority complex.

I see where the problem lies. You guys think that India is a land of Hindus. This is completely false. We have almost every religion on earth. Interestingly, Muslims are the second largest religion in India.

Dont get too happy there. India has an over-whelming large Hindu majority population (80% of India's population is Hindu) Muslims make 13.4% of India's population and if there is ever a debate on Religion no Hindu will side with a Muslim over his/her belief and people can get very sensitive over Religion.

May it be commonwealth federation or ICC , They do trust our security thats why they conduct events in india and withdrew themselves from terrorist pakistan.... But still we to show our hospitality will welcome you as our honored guests, and if that is what you mean by inferiority complex then I agree with you....

India is considered as the best place to invest , the best place to get a job even during this time, One among those nations listed to be a superpower, you just cannot even compete us, India has partnered with all the other nations in all the issues, may it be defence, climate change or economy.... has any nation called pakistan for a summit? They would not, because they dont want to get an advise from a failed terrorist nation like pakistan....

You can live in your superpower dream, what do you want us Pakistanis to do..jump for joy and move to india....lol how many Pakistanis do you know move to india for a better life, if india was the next superpower, wouldn't Pakistanis be rushing to india like they do to uk and other developed successful nations in the world, instead indians drive taxi cabs in new york city and work in dunkun donuts in chicago and have their grocery stores in uk, canada, and work as servants for arabs in uae.

Hindus were 10-20% when East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) was part of Pakistan. Bangladesh still has 10% Hindu population.

as far as the poverty is concerned U are always free to go to UNDP website to check ur facts and see how much has India been successfull in reducing poverty....... And my dear sir, India inspite of being 10 time biggher than pakistan have only 29% of our population living below poverty line, and you have 33% of your population below poverty line...
