Do I just represent the ‘honor’ of the men in my family?

How do you know mods can check ip,s if you are a new member?
That argument aside if they check my ip 10 minutes from now my location will showup in Bulgaria
Thats how forum works, its not the first forum i've used that i'd not know. Plus i'm not talking about VPN, you can tell if someone is using VPN by checking their ip from when they created the account.
I've moderated on Disqus before, other and I would have the time of our life exposing people for using Alts or talking to themselves using different Ids.
If you still think I'm an alt, well have fun making yourself look dumb.

You do know that through a moderator you can see my IP and know if im lying or not lol

its not difficult to see if someone is using Alts or fake ids on a bb forum or disqus.
you people have very unhealthy obsession with Pakistan. Youtube is infested with people like you.Try these tactics in lower forums not here you are easily spotted

Lmao I have a life. If I wasn't a Pakistani, I wouldn't be wasting my time on a Pakistani forum, especially not with people who are calling me an Indian fake alt even though it doesn't take 5 minutes to check the ip.

and what is this "mistake" that "exposed" me?

You know more about this troll stuff than others, maybe you yourself are one and nah I don't think cares enough about any of you to bother paying someone to troll you.

Sure, except that people with brains know how internet works and can tell if someone is using VPN instead of shouting "fake" every two seconds like brain dead parrots ;)

No Pakistani would take money for that. It is their duty so we do it for free. Sometimes we do get a juicy steak in return.
The money saved can go to the poor.

you hurt my feelings - anyway why are you trying so hard to defend yourself?

I am willing to bet my last piece of pizza for that. Basically my wedding vows.
get ready to divorce lmao

Its not about defending myself. I love debating stuff especially religion pr conspiracies with non-muslim and non-Pakistani people. Which may start from forum talks upto actual VCs. When it comes to talking with even atheist americans, there is always a sense of respect and understanding, knowing that our opinions might clash. And its a fun thing.

But when its people of your own ethnicity and religion acting retarded, thats kinda sad. Not to mention the guy called me out saying that stuff without any reason or proof and everyone else jumped on the bandwagon munching his dick.
When people of different religion and race are more civilized than your own, and you go around defending your religion and your country, while people of your own religion and race act like wild illiterate morons basically fulfilling whatever stereotypes people have about Pakistan and Its people. Thats terrible to feel.

Do not go to the park as your brother would not like it, this is not America’, my mother scolded me when I insisted on visiting a nearby park. ‘Your elder sisters have never been stubborn like you. They’ve always done whatever their brothers or husbands asked them to do’, my mother was very angry. ‘I want to go there’, I murmured but my mother’s reaction was so annoying that I had to follow her instructions immediately.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Asma and I have recently come back from the U.S. after completing my one and a half year-long fellowship program with a Washington-based non-profit, Atlas Corps.

My mother’s reaction unintentionally dragged me towards my days spent in the United States during the fellowship program. There, I was living in an apartment in Washington D.C. near the Water Front area while the Potomac River was just in front of my house.

What is wrong about going to a park?
Am I just a symbol of honour and respect for the male members of my family while they do not care whether I am happy with this discriminatory behaviour or not?

When my mother stopped me from going out, all of the sudden I felt as I am in a prison where I have to seek the permission of the male members of my family whenever I need to go out of the house. ‘What is so bad about going to the public park?’ I questioned my mother. But instead of my mother, my brother said quickly, ‘I think you forgot that you are in Pakistan now, where the girls have to bear insulting comments, attitude and harassment when they go out. Being a brother, I cannot tolerate that my sister is being victimised by the dirty vulgar comments when she goes out’, my brother almost yelled at me.

Now it has been two months in Pakistan for me. and during these 60 days, every day I question myself, why I am here and why I came back to a place where I am not being treated as a human being made of flesh and bones… Am I just a symbol of honor and respect for the male members of my family while they do not care whether I am happy with this discriminatory behavior or not? Frankly speaking, I have become almost a mental patient now.

‘I am not a human being now. I am just a puppet. Maybe Asma is no more alive’…

Do I just represent the ‘honor’ of the men in my family?

Hi,

One thing that a person may learn in the U S is---" situational awareness " . Your family is just making you aware of the situation that you seemingly might have forgotten.

It is a sad state of affairs in pakistan indeed---where not only a woman---but a reasonable male may not chose to go outside randomly to a park.

If this was your first visit back to pakistan---then welcome to the club---you miss your motherland---the smells the streets---the noise---the voices---but till you get there.
