Do Hindus in your locality rent houses to muslims?

I am just curious to know the relation between Hindus and Muslims in various parts of India..Do Hindus rent their houses to Muslims in your locality?In the state which I live in Hindus rent their houses if the owner is not living in it and if it is not a big house..generally in houses where owners take up a portion Muslims are not given any other portion for rent..this is not true in all cases but majority of them.
PS:I would rent my house if the family is small and clean.

We knew bachelors especially college going ones (or of similar age) find it hard to get accommodation, but instead of replying 'no we dont give to bachelors' he said, 'I got grownup girls'. To which I replied like a stupid 'we are not that type'.
He said everybody says that, and declined. I was a bit annoyed then.

Currently I am living in Chandigarh.... The landlord is a Hindu, on first floor there is a Muslim family and on second floor me with my friends.

Quite a few who will not rent out to anybody eating non veg. In fact, lots of societies in Mumbai will not allow non vegetarian fellows in. Before people jump in on religion, this is the case even with non veg eating Hindus.

many vegetarian hindus feel disgusted that muslims kill animals(in their home) and eat .. even a non vegetarian hindu will find it squeamish.
That and the idea that muslims generally pick fight with their neighbour, are the reasons usually given by hindus.

most of them do,only some hardcore vegetarians dont...as they dont want any kind of non veg to be cooked in their house.

My cousin bro ( we are brahmins from odisha and eat meat) had to lie in Rajasthan to get an accommodation. He is annoyed that he cannot eat meat. He loads himself with meat and fish when he comes to odisha. Meat eating is taboo in north India.

one of my mate in bangalore eats nonveg secretly(he is hindu), because he lives in some colony (I am guessing jain but it could be something similar). The landlord is a nosy bastard.
You got to close your doors and windows if you cook chicken/mutton... you can forget fish..
