Look at the pathetic reality of your people. Next time you come here and try to patronise us Pakistanis at how we we should live, remember to sort out the pathetic state of you race first.

What is the punishment for carrying out tgis sort of Hindu extremist attacks against minorities in India?

Unfortunately they have a free reign in some parts of India. In some places they get punished, in others they are jailed for some time and released at the convenient soonest not by the police themselves by their political party patrons getting them released using loopholes.

Don't get me wrong, I feel sorry for the way he was beaten. It was sickening. I wish you guys would fight back against hindu/rss oppression. NOBODY deserves to be treated like that.

How many tens of thousands of cases have been registered against Hindu Extremists so far? There seems to be no end to it.

Why is it normal to persecute minorities at the hands of Hindu Extremists in broad day light with so many bystanders waiting for their turn to hit the victims?

In the civilised world, this sort of behaviour creates a national uproar in media, social media and the parliament.

In India it would seem it only goes as far as, "A case is registered against these guys and action will be taken." I mean, they don't even have the guts to call out Hindu Extremists (probably for fear of their women being lynched).

Yes, some of those people are visible in the vid and depending on the province the police may prosecute them. I say depending because some provinces / states like Uttar Pradesh, Tripura and Karnataka are ruled by the BJP party ( whose ideological associates do crimes like these ) and the police may be put under pressure by the state government to release the culprits.

About a month or so ago in the southern state of Karnataka days after the BJP took power of the state government the state BJP directed the police to release those workers of its allied groups arrested for creating communal violence and disharmony in the state on the grounds that the workers were "unjustly arrested".
