Never mind Bilal bro. He thought you had some win over me. That's how LDC trolls work here, childish arguments for momentary gains.
Anyway, it was my mistake, I just read about Apple being secretive about supply lines on quora.
I thanked @Bussard Ramjet because he decided to be honest and not hide something that is inconvenient to Sanghi hyper-nationalist fanboys. Decent is that decent does.
What is this need of 'some' Indians that you need to feel good about some irrelevant minute technological achievement just to feel better as an Indian? Is good news about India that hard to come about and insecurity that pervasive? And to hide things just because they don't fit the patriotic 'image' (some would say is removed from reality)?
I realize I am a bit reactive however I only respond if there are blatant lies being bandied about that I personally know to be untruthful, whether about Bangladesh or not.
Like the myth often recited by said fanboys in this forum that,
- Bangladesh is an exploding population timebomb
- Health and hygiene in Bangladesh is worse than India
- Bangladesh is a Jamaati terrorist haven
- Bangladeshis are a technologically backward people and are incapable of designing or building defence technology items like tanks or frigates
- Every Bangladeshi dreams of going to India and settling there
These are seen as Indian propaganda against Bangladesh by communal Sanghis.
Decent secular people in Bangladesh and India know these not to be true.
Yeah we know (some) things suck in Bangladesh -we'll be the first to admit that we have a long way to go in some areas. But so does every other (large) South Asian country - take your pick of social ills and/or govt. policy gone haywire.
I believe for the size of the country we have and the enormous odds we faced in the time we have been independent, we've done pretty good for ourselves and will do even better in the future.
Indians at a govt. level must stop treating Bangladesh as some illegal hostile entity. Accordance of respect and a more wholesome engagement policy (especially in strategic and defence matters) must precede mutual entente.
