Dishonesty about Indian technological development

:lol:Never mind Bilal bro. He thought you had some win over me. That's how LDC trolls work here, childish arguments for momentary gains.

Anyway, it was my mistake, I just read about Apple being secretive about supply lines on quora.

I thanked @Bussard Ramjet because he decided to be honest and not hide something that is inconvenient to Sanghi hyper-nationalist fanboys. Decent is that decent does.

What is this need of 'some' Indians that you need to feel good about some irrelevant minute technological achievement just to feel better as an Indian? Is good news about India that hard to come about and insecurity that pervasive? And to hide things just because they don't fit the patriotic 'image' (some would say is removed from reality)?

I realize I am a bit reactive however I only respond if there are blatant lies being bandied about that I personally know to be untruthful, whether about Bangladesh or not.

Like the myth often recited by said fanboys in this forum that,

- Bangladesh is an exploding population timebomb
- Health and hygiene in Bangladesh is worse than India
- Bangladesh is a Jamaati terrorist haven
- Bangladeshis are a technologically backward people and are incapable of designing or building defence technology items like tanks or frigates
- Every Bangladeshi dreams of going to India and settling there

These are seen as Indian propaganda against Bangladesh by communal Sanghis.

Decent secular people in Bangladesh and India know these not to be true.

Yeah we know (some) things suck in Bangladesh -we'll be the first to admit that we have a long way to go in some areas. But so does every other (large) South Asian country - take your pick of social ills and/or govt. policy gone haywire.

I believe for the size of the country we have and the enormous odds we faced in the time we have been independent, we've done pretty good for ourselves and will do even better in the future.

Indians at a govt. level must stop treating Bangladesh as some illegal hostile entity. Accordance of respect and a more wholesome engagement policy (especially in strategic and defence matters) must precede mutual entente.

Sure, an advanced Space program & nuclear program are way too irrelevant, minute achievements. Says the guy who runs multiple threads showcasing coasters & barges built in Bangladesh.

Bangladeshis are incapable of designing or building defence technology items like tanks or frigates

I haven't seen one Bangladeshi designed warship for that matter, so that is pretty much true.

See, I read this discussion, and I am 75% in favor of Indians, and 25% in favor of you.

Of course, Bangladesh is a very successful country. If some Indians think that it is a time bomb, they are completely mistaken. And Bangladesh in fact is perhaps the only country in South Asia that has managed population well.

BUT,

India is around 6-7 times the size of bangladesh, and perhaps 10 times its economic size.

There is simply no contest!

Lol, pathetic effort from a typical pathological liar!! Do you even know the level of engineering & up scaling required to go from a sounding rocket to a Space launch vehicle ?

And how does launching an US sounding rocket from a UN-sponsored facility, TERLS make Indian Space program any less indigenous ?

And unfortunately for you, the Americans never transferred any technology nor did Indians copy it- the first Indian developed sounding rocket, the RH-75 has nothing to with Nike Apaches. It used cordite propellant ,because the underfunded space program working out of a converted church couldn't yet manufacture APCP propellent.

Now a bit about Chinese Space Technology origins...

The first Chinese missile was built in October 1958 as a reverse-engineered copy of the Soviet R-2 short-range ballistic missile (SRBM), itself an upgraded version of a GermanV-2 rocket. Its range was 590 km, weighing 20.5 tons and propelled with liquid oxygen and alcohol.

So much for Chinese 'indigenous' claims

Lol, more BS. So Indian Space program is not indigenous because our scientists trained in the US in the basics of sounding rocket assembly & range operations? Tell me how it is different in the case of US it self which received hundreds of experienced Nazi scientists, let alone access to the hardware & blue prints.

This is called 'range operations, stupid' !!!

IF test flying an American sounding rocket, and later coming up with a Space Launcher using even locally developed propellant is called stealing in any sense of the word. Google lactone terminated polybutadiene aka HEF-20, that one was invented by ISRO.

Sure, they had a parachute on-board to recover the same.

Idiot, that's a model of SLV, our first launcher. So much for your knowledge on 'space technology'.

This is the Nike Apache.

Reported for blatant name-calling. Good going. :-)

Nope - there is not.

Bangladeshis realize very well that population alone _should_ make India an Industrial and technological behemoth.

However should we be comparing India with Bangladesh?

Maybe comparisons should be made with countries that possess (or used to possess) the size and potential of India, maybe China.

Ideally - Bangladesh can be a development partner with India only and would play a very neutral role in geo-strategic affairs.

That is what most Bangladeshis ideally want, nothing more, nothing less.

Really? Tamil speakers should contribute some more then...

Bengali works pretty good actually.
That's quite true. It's actually Cheap to hire a Bengali, not sure though if it's BD or WB.
Don't laugh, this guy is an expert in google translate...
Google translator needs to develop a bit, he missed the accurate point. I checked the translator and it shows the same result as that.

You are not reactive, you are just Butthurt. You are talking some sh*t about Mars mission, poverty meanwhile you are buying submarines from China. So, have you achieved everything that you can go around getting weapons, and not to mention that million dollar satellite you are sending.

I know what you did there... :rolleyes1:
Yeah, I know. Give credits where it's due, they(Bengali) are actually doing some pretty nice job in our saw mills, construction companies. As cement kuttal works during warp :enjoy:

Since Bilal9 is acting saintly now, here are a few screenshots of his previous posts on this thread- do note that these aren't considered as 'name-calling'.

I think @Bilal9 you should apologize here. Your post was factually incorrect, racially demeaning, and highly disrespectful.

you haven't seen pages 1-3, have you ?

There is nothing factually correct about this thread as well.
