Dishonesty about Indian technological development

Some claim that India is the technological epicenter of the world.

It is understandable to want such an image when everything in India is so mismanaged industrially and most of the industry is informal SME situations.

Example:

There are at least 3 Indian machine tool manufacturers with revenue about $150- 300 million.Here is a 5 axes machining/ multi tasking center by one of them, developed with IIT- Madras. A 5 axes universal machining center is underway as a result of the same collaboration.

This is a blatant and sordid lie.

That 5 axes machining/ multi tasking center was developed by Huron France for JYOTI almost entirely in Europe (France and Switzerland). Buying European companies that are in hard times due to dwindling business and then slapping the name JYOTI and a Hindu Symbol on them does not make it 'developed in India'. It is really rare in India to design something like this from scratch like the Japanese or Koreans. Hence the need to proclaim lies to sell an Indian name in desh-bhakt communal India.

The company itself calls these Jyoti Huron, but Indian fanboys in PDF are dhokeybaj enough to take out Huron name. After all make in India can only be for Indian sounding brand names like Jyoti, even if it's a lie....

I am just sharing my observations about college educated Delhi kids harassing a Tamil kid about his 'Southern culture', complete with mockery of food, head bobbing etc. I felt pretty bad about that treatment.

India is a huge country with 1.4 billion mouths. Even if 1% of the population, makes it a lucrative market. As a result many western companies or in some cased Indian companies bring technology to India to sell. Its nothing to do with Indian capability or invention. If you want to know the Indian capability then you can just look at their Kaveri engine or Bhramos missile. Kaveri is failed as it took Indian input in it whereas Bhramos is a success, as it is a Russian missile with Indian logo in it. Jyuti is no different.
