Discussion: some technically acquired images of Indian Air bases Jodhpur.

.
Evidence 1 : During electronic training MACE XIII (I'm not sure about the "XIII") Rafale was the sole that fliew over a S300 without beeing track. Even dedicated F16CJ can't..... And All the others were virtualy destroyed, including Gripen.
Evidence 2 : Rafale came first and flew over Lybia without problem.
Evidence 3 : In april 2018, Rafale fired SCALP missile on Syria, along GB and US fighters. Russians in Tartous admit not having detected the french fighter wave.

And some other evidence, like a famous training between GB EF2000 and French Rafale, where the GB pilots were unable to have a fire solution. Since that and another famous training in Corsica between these two birds (7 to 1 for Rafale against EF !!!), GB refuses to train A to A against Rafale.....
The real test for Rafale will be in the Indo-Pak theater....

As for the Russian AD systems, even the Turkish drones have proved themselves to be more than enough in a multiple theaters...

India chose Rafale before it can do all mission very effectively.
EF is better in air defense, specially in high altitude (but the swiss 2011 eval leaks are not so clear...), but is worst in all other fields.
Gripen is too light, to limited, too short legs, and in direct competition with Tejas.
F16 (or F21  ) is now too old, too heavy for the now too small wings, and therefore show some issues in handlings. (It was a so nice fighter up to block 30 more or less. After it become fat).
SH18 performs less than Rafale even if 30% heavier. It is just less expensive, but the US rules to use it (as F16) are very stricts. Ask UAE or Egypt about it.
Mig 35 don't ind any cistomer, including russian air force....

In a few words, Rafale is not the best in any fields, but performs very well in all.
Egypt has got Rafales. And, TurAF F16s are practicing on the Libyan coast!! Next time, they'll be decimating UAE/Egypt/France/Russia etc. backed Hafter terrorists and their air assets!! Let's see whether the Egyptians Rafales are bold enough to face them....

Image of SAM site at Jodhpur.

SAM site is located in the middle of the runway on west side.

The image is 3 months old just before the lock down.

Update:

Possible Hangers being constructed at Jodhpur for Rafale jets.

First of all let's look at the design of French hangers. At French Airforce base.

View attachment 625618 View attachment 625619

See these 2 Pics one has white hangers and other has blue hanger.

These are hangers at French Airforce base.

Something similar to this design of hangers has just popped up recently at Jodhpur air base.

This type of design was previously not available on Indian air bases.

And this recent image shown that the hanger is complete.

Hangers have 2 way access to the runway. Both hanger are located mid of runway on east side. The design of the hangers have not been seen on Indian air bases previously. The design of the hangers is similar to hangers on French air bases.

No Rafales to be stationed in Jodhpur unless more than 36 Rafales are to be bought which in these conditions are highly unlikely...
One Sq to be deployed in Ambala
Other one in North East.

Lol.

Jodhpur is India's most important base and they will be deployed there.

That is the most sensitive area. If India is ever going to attack Pakistan they will come from there.

.
But look at the shelters in image 2 and 3. They have mud filled walls here penetration is issue. The weapon of choice would be the one which penetrates top of the shelter. Guide bombs will hit mud filled walls?
True, but sometimes destroying aircraft is not the only option. You may recall that PAF's campaign (outnumbered as it was) in East Pakistan in 1971 ended only when the Tejgaon airfields were bombed and rendered unusable. By bombing runways and airfields, Pakistan can either delay the effectiveness of enemy fighters or force them to redirect to another area. Plus, even when the airfields are reconstructed, that is still a delay of at least a few days.

1 rafale squadron in ambala in haryana, another in hashimara in west bengal. Also can use gwalior airbase which is the designated mirage2000 base.No rafales at jodhpur, maybe small attatchments could land on a temporary basis ,but permanent bases are ambala and hashimara with gwalior as backup.Rafale has nearly 4000 km unrefuelled range, even more than sukhoi. Its not a problem at all to bring it in from the interior.

Destroying runways is the game of the past now aircrafts have shorted take off and landing. Runways are longer and have multiple entry points to them. If a portion of the runway is destroyed the rest of it will still be operational.

That is correct but precision bombing has not entirely replaced unguided bombs. Destroying runways should ideally be a secondary, contingency approach and falls under the umbrella of "Harrassment." I'm sure you would agree that harassing an enemy is almost as important as destroying it, because winning wars is ultimately down to destroying the enemy's will to fight. So bombing runways causes a disruption reminiscent of bombing supply-lines.

I have only seen SU30 there.

will try to search more. Mirages were spotted at Bathinda Base recently.

i have recent images of it from there.

will post a thread tomorrow on it.

Ok ok what next
Most pilots can't sustain more than 6 Gs very few can sustain 9Gs or above but only for few seconds, super cruise is irrelevant for 5th gen and up coming 6th gen jets and its can sustain supersonic speed because its uses high by pass ratio turbofan for quietness
LOL.
The worst explanation never read. Congrats ! So LM studied a low agility F35 just because the american pilots are becomming fat ???

Sorry to bust your dreams my friend, Rafale may be a potent fighter as you suggest. But this time the end user is IAF ,who are notoriously known to give a very bad name to the supplier.

I don't understand. What do you mean?

The real test for Rafale will be in the Indo-Pak theater....
The electronic counter measures of Pak don't seems world top class.....

JUST LIKE YOUR SMALL AND FATTY AIR CHIEF:p::D:enjoy:, AND DO RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BARK HERE, EVERY MEN, WOMEN HAS DIFFERENT CAPACITY TO SUSTAIN HIGH GS, EVEN FOR TRAIN AIR FORCE PILOTS

Just go with it for ur entertainment hahaha

u r plainly mistaken if u think Jodhpur is most impressive base ... bulk of Indian strike capabilities are beyond the reach of Paf

Here are some recently acquired images of Indian forward air base at Jodhpur. During war India will use this base to attack Multan and Bahawalpur and this air base is or was an important part of Indian cold start doctrine.

These images show the design of air craft shelters and type of aircrafts stored in them. Plus a radar installment at the base.

Try assessing the shelters and which ammo in Pakistani inventory can penetrate these shelters and destroy those jets.

This image is a satellite view of the South end of the runway to give aerial prospective of the place.

This is the image of the first aircraft shelter from South end. With su30 MKI standing in it.

This image is of the second shelter from South end with Su30 MKI standing in it.

This image is of the radar stationed north of these shelters. Try to recognize the type of radar.

these are not fat like you small ACM, WHERE DO YOU GET IT THESE GUYS ARE FAT LIKE YOU ACM, ARE YOU BLIND:hitwall::crazy:
At least with the lazy F35 they don't risk so much.... A plane for non french fat pilots....
F-35 CAN SUSTAIN 9GS JUST LIKE F-16, AND ITS BASICALLY A STRIKE JET AND MOST OF FUTURE WARS WILL FIGHT IN BVR ARENA SO NO NEED TO BULID SUPER MANEUVERABLE JET LIKE MKI/F-22 WHICH CAN SUSTAIN 11G FOR ONLY 10 SECONDS:p:;):enjoy:
