Lol no .. nothing was destroyed . stealth sense of history is mysterious .
buddhism lost because of its authoritarianism . Buddha asked for unconditional belief and didnt answered many philosophical questions
Asiguru Shankaracharya roamed all over India on his foot debating the scholars . they all accpted defeat and accpted him their guru .
Plus the invasion of Muslim acted as the final nail on Buddhism as they destroyed the monastries

awwwwwww

Stealth and Logic note i wish you have same honesty.

Go and read the Budhism truned to Islam after Jainsim came under attack from Brahmin. Budhists welcomed Muslims and if i dont forget a reading Islam spread in Kerala and Tamilnadu.

.
And did not Hindu King Pushyamitra Sunga, Jalaluka, Kinnara and others destory Budhist centers, stopas and viharas?????????????

Was not it done just to save Brahmanic views and to keep the Cast system alive in India as Budhists were far more dynamic and they introduced Agricultural revolution which had truned many lands fertile and common man was prospering which again was a threat to Brhamins to keep their power and enslave the low casts.

you said go and read - but where , what .. plz give me the source of your twisted sense of History .

historians have rejected the accuracy of the Buddhist texts that record Pushyamitra’s persecution of Buddhists. The first accounts appear two centuries after Pushyamitra's reign. Koenraad Elst posts that historical facts confirm that Pushyamitra allowed and patronized the construction of monasteries and Buddhist universities in his domains, as well as the still-existent stupa of Sanchi

Buddhism flourished even after the end of SUnga Dynasty Under Gupta Dynasty.

I'd say that the notion that "buddhism got refuge in pakistan" will be oversimplifying matters.

Mahmud of Ghazni and Mohd. bin Qasim virtually wiped out buddhism from Pakistan and central asia by the 12th century.

However, all this while, the Palas of Bengal were promoting buddhism. Under the Palas, buddhism spread to Tibet and missionaries were sent around the world.
Nalanda university and Vikramshila university flourished under their rule.

^^^Just one of the factors that complicates the issue.

I'm not sure whether Koenraad Elst is a credible source. He's obviously got an agenda to promote.

A good example is the wars between the Hindu Sungas and the Buddhist Mauryas.

The “Hindu Era” begins from Vikrami Samvat and also associated with Shaka Samvat which are 2055 and 1922 years old respectively. The Hindus say that the Vikram Era starts from their Hindu King Chandra Gupta Vikramaditya. In ancient history, Chandra Gupta-II of Gupta dynasty (380-413 AD) is named Chandra Gupta Vikramaditya. So historiacally Shaka Era is anterior to Vikram Era.

We do not want to criticise the Hindu views and accept Vikram Era and Shaka Era as 2055 and 1922 years old respectively.

The question is why the Hindus have two Eras? This needs research and investigation. I think these Eras are not only important but are very significant because they are related to the sabotage of the Buddhist history.

(i) The Shaka Era started from 78 AD related with Kanishka, a Buddhist emperor of the Kushan dynasty. During the Kanishka period, the Hindu Nazis succeeded in their evil designs. To kill the Spirit of Buddhism they divided it on linguistic and racial lines into Hinyan and Mahayan. The Mahayanists were the Brahmins and followers of Sanskrit. It was a fight between Maurya and the Brahmins, Brahminism and Buddhism and finally between Sanskrit and Pali. Therefore, the Shaka Era is associated with the killing of Buddhist spirit. The Mahayanists were infidels. But in the Spirit of Buddhism there is no place for infidels.

(2) The Vikram Era is associated with Chandra Gupta Vikramaditya, a king of the Gupta dynasty. This was the “Golden Period of Hinduism.” It is called so because Sanskrit was made the state language in place of Pali, the language of the Buddhists. So, the Vikram Era is associated with the extermination of Pali.

Thus the process of Brahminisation which began with the Shaka Era was completed during the Vikram Era.

^^^Titanium, can I get the source of that paragraph?

Also, do you ever debate, or simply post articles from propaganda websites?

Frankly, your leader article is nothing but propaganda. It exaggerates some facts while ignoring others.

I'm not taking the word of any author who uses the word "Nazi" while describing events that occured 2000 years ago.

Thanks
