Most rajput i know still in 2020 dont marry outside their clan let alone mughals..I am a Rajput from Punjab, and yes, my family does have some ancestry from Ferghana valley in Uzbekistan. We were very high in rank in the Mughal dynasty era. We intermarried with them too.
Yeah Lolz,I am a Bhatti Rajpuit and My Mom would have shot me if i even mentioned a girl outside our caste. Its like a Blood code embedded in genes for our parents. at least for the families i know.Dont think so.. that said im enjoyin the Ertugal memes:

But Pre Partition, Some of Rajputs have married mughals that is also true. I also know some people. But that is not the case today.
Lahore-FaisalabadThis is false. Times have changed, half my khandaan is Pukhtoon through intermarriage, mostly with Niazis. It is nice having relatives who come from diverse backgrounds, creates much stronger DNA also.
If you or anyone says we are not real Rajputs, you are mistaken as well, we are heading some very prominent Rajput organizations in Pakistan.
I think it is about mindset and locality also, because many Rajputs have intermarried with Non-Rajputs recently in Central Punjab. No one even minds anymore.
What area of Punjab are you from?
I am from Lahore-Faisalabad area myself. Most of my family is in this area.

I agree but please tell that to the Arab guy in here. We were just talking about the show and none of us here were searching for this situation yet he came here and tried to blurr the conversation as he always does in any of the Turkish related discussions...Avoid racism and abusing each other's nationality.

It came to effect after the 1980 Coup. 42 years after Ataturk's death.Only thing I do consider the ban on headscarfes in Universities and public office to be step too far in my opinion but I have heard from people that these laws came in after Ataturk? Not sure if that was true or not but certainly interesting to hear..
