I dont know much about ISI however, had a chat with a Pakistani friend of mine about it over a pizza. He said that the one major reason Pakistan still exists as a nation today is due to the contribution from their intelligence agencies, namely ISI.

He said that there are many corruptions/faults in all levels and sectors of the country but there are also absolutely committed people who work for Pakistan's sake and in places where it matters the most - eg. nuclear capabilities, ISI etc.

Unfortunately all the past+present Government were/are desperately trying to use this organisation for their own selfish political agendas,the main obstacle, as to why till date this elite Org has failed to reach it's desired level.i,e at par with ISI.

DGFI was never ever infiltrated by ISI moles,on the contrary the Indian Intelligence moles, in various guises were desperately trying to make an entry.
Finally,with SHW placed in power,you all could be now have finally,perhaps, made a dent.
However,I still have my serious doubts,a few top brass could be your sympathizers,not the entire patriotic corps of Officers neither their operatives.

DGFI is either inept or compromised but likely both.

It is not possible for an organisation such as this to exist and carry out its stated purpose when democracy has been subverted by Indian puppets in the guise of BAL.

It has failed completely as far as I can tell.... peelkhana is just the tip of the iceberg.

It's current purpose is to serve BAL vis-a-vis Indian agenda of turning BD into a one party state.

I wish I could conclude a more positive narrative about DGFI.... but has it ever achieved a single positive result in the interest of the country? I would genuinely like to stand corrected as I am unaware of any.

According to this site, cyberattacks have increased by 440% over the last 10 years. China and Russia seem to be the largest attackers while the USA is the biggest target. There doesn't seem to be much info in Pakistan though.

Bhaisaab Iran and N.Korea are right behind PLA Hackers and Russian ones.

I think I provided a link about a year ago about Iranian APT capabilities. The Ayatollahs have been busy....and it is an interesting read. One of the founders of Cylance is Iranian by descent and I'm sure some researchers are as well.

If you read carefully, they list how some Pakistani sites were hacked....
