Well Shoib Akhtar was Muslim only the thing was he wasn't too much religious. But Yusuf Yohanna was surely a Christian who converted to Islam as Muhammad Yusuf. And I read many commentators that he converted so that he could be captain of Pakistan's cricket team someday.
