Clearly the phenomena of how Chinese here never met a ruthless human right violation they did not love is understood in that these posters here are part of the 1 cent army. Question remains, will we see the Chinese govt fold on Chen and let a blind man leave the country with his family.

It is this kind of CONVOLUTED Indian Mentality that never ceases to amaze me. How is criticizing my country's illegal acts be equated to being Anti-American ? The majority of us American citizens want our government to respect other countries and stop interfering in their internal affairs. We do not consider this to be Anti-American posture. Infact it is for Patriotic reasons that we support this line of thinking.

If a guy tries to have revolution or overthrow the government, throw him into prison for life. But 16 years for someone like Lu Decheng for throwing paint-filled eggs at Mao portrait? Or did he do something else?

The sacrificial work of a few righteous people isn't enough to bring changes to the Chinese society, the masses of public must join the revolt against the communist government's totalitarianism to bring changes, the Tienanmen style.

But let us ask the question, do we really want a free China? China under the communist rule will stay a third world country due to the corruptions and the lack of freedom, and will not rise to the western dominance in global affairs. A free China that even rise to Taiwan level of social development(and become a true superpower) will not necessarily be less aggressive in raising tensions around the world and yield even more power and influence around the world than the totalitarian and oppressed China does right now.

So while one's morality would want a free and liberated China, one's logic says we should help the communist to keep China a 3rd world country.

I think cursing Mao in China is OK as well since indeed there are many Chinese that dislike Mao as well.

However, Mao's image on Tiananmen Square now is almost as sacred as the national flag.

Destroying Mao's image on Tiananmen Square or national flag publicly will get you jailed in China. In China, there are plenty of freedom for public speech. However, I strongly suggest you do not do those above.

There you have it Bro! There are more a thousand of these what Colin Powell termed " Force Extenders" swarm all over China with all kind of cash and incentive offers for anyone who willing to disrupt the social fabrics of China. China shouldn't go easy on them and should take a page from Egypt and round them up, jail them or throw them out before it's too late. Russia has the same problem too.
