Every part of the world has an inferiority complex towards the West. This is probably because the West has been dominant economically and otherwise for several hundred years so it's understandable.
Chinese members here should not front and act like only India is a victim of this. I read an article a while back about Chinese companies hiring white people to be "fake" managers or executives. If that's not inferiority complex, I don't know what is. But no need to belabor the point.
The fact that there's tension and why 1962 keeps getting brought up is because there are still border disputes and other issues. Conflicts with Pakistan and China are still fresh in the Indian mind because it is still going on to this day. The relationship has to be a peaceful one with no disputes. Only then can animosity or hatred from both sides subside.
