Dhaka wants to get connected with 4-nation TAPI gas pipeline

^^^ There are new reports coming out every year... Believe me, someone cannot predict what growth you will have in 2050. If you can, then prove it.

No, both Nigeria and BD have great potential. Nigeria will probably be most developed in Africa... Nigeria right now has the largest internet population in Africa.

Same with BD. BD has a huge middle class. Also huge potential for textile factories... BD just overlapped Pakistan in textile mills.

Did you know that both Nigeria and BD can be found in the list of top 10 most populated countries in the world? The population factor actually helps push the economy forward, until $hit breaks loose!

Large number of people below poverty line -> cheap labor -> textiles/garments (BD)

Oil -> export (Nigeria)

:P

Nigeria's main problem is instability.

Pakistan should not provide gas to India, unless they open water lines under disputed territory act.

And sir India can threaten scrapping the Indus Water Treaty if Pakistan does any hanky-panky with the gas pipeline to India.

Now you can figure out who holds the BIGGER gun.

population problem is something you guys have to fix in the long term. but atleast living conditions will get better..

btw which country on the N11 doesn't have cheap labor?

That's the equivalent of launching a nuke into Pakistan... Don't expect us to sit and watch.

Bro I have talked about GDP(PPP) not nominal. GDP(PPP) of Bangladesh is now 283 billion.

But, why do you think in a highly developed country with a nominal $2 trillion GDP there shall be a difference between nominal and PPP figures? Recently, a distinction hs been established for the poor countries because purchasing power of its currency within the country is higher than the official exchange rate would show.

Therefore, when BD's GDP grows to a staggering $2 trillion how do you think its PPP will be $5 trillion? On the contrary, nominal and PPP GDP will be same. Think of US and Japanese nominal and PPP GDP. There is no difference between the figures.

For USA it is same but for Japan it is different. Its nominal GDP is 5.9 trillion usd and PPP GDP is 4.4trillion usd. Some other European country also has this opposite trend.

Yes with PPP every country including India and China will have more then 80 trillion usd economy but with nominal it will be in between 30-40 trillion usd. Same apples also for Bangladesh and other countries.

Pakistan cannot do anything if India stops water. Nuclear threat is certainly not an option. It will be the starting point of demise of Pakistan. Best is for Pakistan to open ways for TAPI gas. However, I believe the pipeline project cost at $7.6 billion is too high. It may not be feasible in the long run even if BD joins it.

However, our SH has a lot of money. She wants to build a $7 billion airport. So, the other two countries can always come to SH for a big loan.
