Dhaka University ban serving beef - hindu fundamentalist students beaten up café manager over beef

Group of fundamentalist hindu students in Dhaka University ransacked University café and beaten up café manager because there was beef in popular dish of “Theari”. Incident happened in Dhaka University “fine arts” department. In Bangladesh where 90% population are Muslims, beef is most popular meat. Besides, anyone eaten “Theari” and familiar with the dish knows beef is most popular ingredient for the dish.

After the incident, University proctor clarified beef had been banned in the University fine arts café.

This incident raised the question how in a country of 90% Muslim, beef is banned to make way for hindu fundamentalism? Or is that Dhaka University became center for promoting hindu fundamentalist ideology?

When a student raised the question why extremist behavior, just eating something without beef could solve the problem. One of hindu journalist name Subro Gupta from Awami league controlled “Independent TV” indirectly threaten the female student with rape.

This is not the first incident where hindu religious practices are forcefully imposed over majority Muslim population in Bangladesh. Few weeks ago, holi color was forcefully put on Muslim woman in Dhaka street.

Most recently, Bangladesh govt run by india backed awami league regime made it mandatory for all school to celebrate new year using hindu rituals.

This whole beef ban thing is a Northern/Western Indian communal Hindu 'thing'. Most educated Bengali Hindus I know don't really care. It's these semi-educated and uneducated Hindus in those states who are really being pushy about beef ban.

In the cafe, students from all religions eat. There are other foods, other than eating beef, anyone who does not wish to eat beef can get different food.
This was Dhaka University cafe, there is nor should be exclusive privilege so that hindu extremism can shine. Besides Dhaka University proctor made rule for not serving beef where most students eats beef; that is imposing hindu extremist ideology over majority Muslim students. Only hindus and non believers in Bangladesh will promote such hindu extremism.

And how hindu journalist reacted shows how hindus using awami state power by extension of india, are imposing hindu extremism.
