People often confuse Communism and Socialism

Communism is a form of Government. Opposite is Democracy.
Socialism is a form of Economy. Opposite is Capitalism
Both are mutually exclusive - one is not the pre-requisite for the other.

A country like Denmark might be Socialist Democracy
China now is firmly a Capitalist Communist State.
India leaned toward Socialism but was always a mixed-economy with the Government being democratic.

Seeing where North Korea is ranked in corruption perception index, cato freedom index, and it not even registering in statistical capacity or even GDDS in IMF, yeah its very probable.

No honest way to verify anything and 3rd party sample.....we have to take North korean govt's word on it in absolute way....the same country that has gulags in this day and age (confirmed by satellite pictures).

Thus its best to compare countries only if they are of similar rating in the initial credibility ratings....that way we at least know others are verifying the claims to some level.
