over night journey yes that makes sense but 1000km will take at-least a day. For tourists it wont matter but for business ppl not much I guess. I think travel by rail will solve the problem to great extent.

I agree...since Nepal doesn't really have a railway system I guess people from BD could travel to the India-Nepal border via train and then switch to a bus.
