Dhaka, Delhi express hope to reap BIMSTEC benefits

Well the target is to export 60bn by 2021. Which won't be achieved but it will probably still be more than 50bn. And if things keep improving then it can exceed 100bn by 2030. Walton or whoever else need to up their game and produce things worth consuming. But my point was...Mainland India getting more connected to NE is perhaps not in BD's best interests.

Transit fees will drive up the price of products. As for currency recognition...it may not be officially recognized but if it is accepted by NE businesses and shops then it will do. There are already some places in India where BD currency is accepted. Also in border areas both currencies are accepted.

As for illegal Bangladeshis...you are free to deport them to BD if you can show proper documents that they are what you claim them to be.
Transit fee will not drive up the prices.. just chck the transit fee per ton charges..

nxt is mainland India is already well connected with the transit route agreement in place... And in adverse situation India will be able to dectate terms.

So Bangladesh cannot economically Decate terms with India. She can just live in harmony.

Illegal Bangladeshi issue is in process of taken care off... with Adhar linked to every ID in future it will be easy to pick up people if any one of there ID's are found out to be fake. Then we don't need to prove to Bangladesh with there identity tht they r Bangladeshi, just raise the cost of living for these chaps in India so that they themselves are forced to go back the same route they entered in the country.

hasina doesnt have any power to give land. She did how ever get additional land from india, as part of the border talks. If you want to hand over more please contact Hasina directly.
I'm in favour of giving some extra land if required to Bangladesh for the favourable land swapping deal. I see no harm in it. Anyways due on climate change the pressure on Bangladesh will increase for this type of deal in near future. So sooner Bangladesh accpet better the deal they can get.

i don't accept this Kind of deal, then there is no deference between India and china, it's India's head hake, we should not involve any other country if India want to secure the place they we have to plan how to protect it, it's not like at the end of the day CAG will find the mistakes and report it

No matter how small it might be it still adds up to costs. Also the costs go up when you send goods long distance. Your vehicles consumes more fuel. Driver gets salary, the vehicles that travels long distance regularly needs some maintenance. Everything adds up to costs. And transit fees can increase. Not to mention transit fees go to Gov't of BD.

And in adverse situation India will be able to dectate terms.
How so?

Good luck with that.

No chance, we will not give an inch of land, all land deals are done and over with. If there is conflict in the NE then you'll just have too take the long route around.

India preferably not go for Highway connection to it's North East state. Going through a densely populated country and through mostly two lane highways, risking accidents and delays.

Rather it'll be a rail link. Which is more economical and viable and faster.

Cool, you know your economics. And now if you put some effort checking the route tht was required until now was longer needed to gain altitude, so it was already expensive and time taking. So actually giving transit cost and going through Bangladesh will make the goods cheaper than before.
And later on if Bangladesh want to flood indian market with Bangladeshi product then I bet Bangladesh will not like to get into this situation with India.

lol..good luck, sea will be rising every day.. there is already a conflict situation for Bangladesh with global warming...

Even with all the ice melting the total land mass we would loose is 17% and right now with the increased sedimentation our land mass is actually growing 20+ square km per year. Either way don't need to worry about us, were doing fine and we'll still be around way longer then you. You've already lost the 37,000+ square Km Aksai Chin to China so just keep an eye on your northern borders...:-)

.
Well, lets see in the last talks we got 10,000 acres from india....what additional land do you want to hand over?

And you are considering our great generosity as our weakness ?? Do you think we gave land to Bangladesh, because we were afraid of you ?? LOL :rofl::rofl:
If we gave you our land for free, we very well know how to reap the benefits out of that. :p:

Are you kidding? Really 17%. :o: That will be 25k sqkm. Even if we loss aksai Chin, it's nothing compared to the total land mass of India.

Also, sedimentation do not increase the net area of BD. Only the livable land. At the expense of water area under water.

.
Guys, please do not troll and talk BIMSTEC and on what the govts should do to make it a success without facing the fate of SAARC.

Yet China get way more benefits.....:p:....we know who our friends are.

Since independence (1971) we have added 1000+ square Km to our land, and 10,000 acres. You can keep dreaming but we'll be around for a long long time.

Wishful thinking nothing more than that. As I've told, you are not a bloody someone who call the shots in Bangladesh, and those who does are more than just pro-Indian. LOL :p:

Regarding the land that we give it nothing more than we put in a beggars bowl. :p:

Lol! LDC chest thumping.

That's one Childish argument. Go take a look at the map and google some information.

There has been exchange of enclaves between India and Bangladesh.

Means, there was 'India' inside Bangladesh. Rather surrounded by Bangladesh territory. Such enclaves were too many inside BD. Which is of no value to India as they are disconnected from Mainland.

Now that they have been integrated into BD. Now stop thinking as if you conquered something.

Keep in mind that you did nothing without our help.;)

Regarding the land that we give it nothing more than we put in a beggars bowl. :p:
Those were Indian enclaves inside BD. That they are proudly jerking about. We got nothing to do with such places. So, we let the citizens be BD. And some were migrated to India. dito "some":D

Yeah those same "pro-indians" are the first to go to China..... What happened to the talk of bangladesh buying indian weapons with $500m credit, looks like even "beggars" don't want what crap weapon you make.....

Bangladesh is a LDC without any doubt. :agree:

But, someone from India the land of rapes, wife swap, gangbang and more poverty than entire Africa, should not use it to feel suppa pawwa.

Anyway, Indian for a reason... :enjoy:
