Has any BD member said about our taking initiative on rocket science? In reality, the person whose post you have answered to has said negatively about it. How come it has offended your ego?

It seems, atomic bombs and rocket science are affordable to a pathetically poor country like India, where people die of starvation and migrate to a country like Bangladesh and work in its farms and factories.

Good for Bangla....but for those of you who drag INDIA into every post, you guys sound like Pakistani. WHy do you feel so inferior? That is s sign of an inferiority complex. India is changing and it has a lot more problems than little Sri Lanka, Bangla, Nepal, etc. It will rise but slowly. If the smaller nations did not rise faster, something is seriosuly wrong. So kudos and stay focused. Don;t mess it up and whittle away all your success by sponsoring terrorism or supporting non state actors, otherwise Bangla may see a different trajectory.

No its a good sign. Basically it shows that the society is rising in levels of affluence and that means a higher living standard...interest in engineering , medicine , law streams are steady --not fluctuating .

With rising economic status comes a rise in political status as well , which is key to surviving in a tough , competitive environment abroad.
