DG-ISI Shuja Pasha briefs Parliment in an in-camera session

dont know....saw this on geo and aaj news.....

the cost of shooting down a drone is 3 billion $ a year...

Its not 3 billion $ but 1.3billion $. However, we damn care about this aid. It is in the interest of US that it cannot stop this aid.

no US AID...no bucket fulls of trouble from the terrorists

the cost of shooting down a drone is 3 billion $ a year...

Most importantly their won't be any more shame that we are comfortably watching our people to be killed by someone else. This is that shame which can't be compensated even by 3 trillion dollars. It isn't a big price anyways.

Thanks for the pathetic post.

i hope the following (an extract from my post elsewhere) will serve as a shut up call of enough quantum for you, whereby if you would have even an iota of sanity, you would keep your beak shut for some time:

......As a stated (and practiced) policy the military says no to drones, it has made clear to the govt that the day the govt can grow enough balls to order us to bring down a drone, we may not disappoint you. So let's get over with it.

And yes, the same kinda stand was taken on the KL Bill. The army made it clear that it had issues with the Bill, BUT then the Parliament has to decide over its applicability, unfortunately which they did and now we have issues with its application. And oh yes, only $ 300 million has been paid to Pakistan out of the 1.25 + 1.25 + 1.25 Billion (over the past 3 years) that were promised to Pakistan. So enjoy!

BTW, one of the resentment by the military was regarding how the KL $$$ were related to 1) Approval from the US govt on yearly basis - the undue scrutinization that was involved in this, 2) the money would continuously be monitored as if we were the thieves )mind it KL was for civilian assistance not for the military so no military purchases were involved, but it sure did hit on are little self esteem or what is left of it, 3) This continuous monitoring was supposed to entail a very huge presence of yanks in mainland Pakistan, which the Pakistanis would not digest.

Unfortunately these concerns were not conveyed by the govt which it should have, instead it was the military that did it for them. In turn suggestions were sought in an abrupt question (as this happened during the talks) and Kiyani told them that if you want to help the people of Pakistan (which was the 'aim' of the Bill) then you must ask the people of Pakistan that what do they want most, the answer would be on the lines of something like the power shortage etc. So fund dams, power generators etc, monitor the funds which in this case would entail a very few goras, this way the yanks can show themselves but projecting more (the power generation) while keeping themselves quite invisible. blah blah...i know you people must have got the point......

You know what, the $$ can go kiss my arse anytime. We have survived without them in the past and i have no doubt whatsoever that we would/could do the same in future also.

"We have survived without them in the past and i have no doubt whatsoever that we would/could do the same in future also."

What a JOKE!

When your country was not on the pay roll of Americans, they were surviving on Saudi pay roll. The fact is, anyone can buy Pakistan--Be it America or Arabia!

Particularly, anyone can buy your generals and politicians.

First of all let me clear that I didn't say that u can survive or not... I simply stated the fact.. U have already got 20 bn $ aids in last 10 yeras.. isn't it correct ?? u survive or not is not my concern. I can understand that if a simple post of mine can make u so angry what US"s drones will do to u.

So, now it goes to $ 10 B from $ 3 B in 3 to 10 years. Great! Keep shifting the goal posts.
BTW, we have been getting aid since long, but does that mean WE have become habitual? Mind it, it's the politicians and the bureaucracy that had gone habitual, not the local populace, a simple reason to this can be that the so called aid never did reach a common Pakistani as it ended up in the pockets of those high ups in the hierarchy. But then why would you know this when the aim was nefarious.

And please there's no need to 'state the facts', the sole reason that you dont know a tosh about the facts is alone enough for you to make an excuse and hide behind some page of this thread (my indication is towards your false 'fact' where you claimed that it would cost us $ 3 B if we attacked the drones, BTW, when you say $ 10 B, does this include the CSF?)

Oh boy, believe me you have not seen me when i am angry.

And also, allow me to bust another attempt of yours to troll, when i say drone attacks not only does makes me angry but the entire Pakistani Nation feels the heat of such attacks. Isnt it guud to feel angry when one gets fingered - and no, i am not thinking of you getting angry, when i say this.
