Dewan Farooque applies for resuming car production

When it comes to two wheeler, you will enjoy the Indian models and they will perform pretty well In Pakistan..... As our conditions are similar, be it road, be it the atmosphere........ These days Indian two wheeler quality is at part with that of Japanese if not better....... I am talking about sub 200 cc bikes/scooter/mopeds.....
True!
I am not a big fan of motorcycles but yeah i have seen some in advertisement and they do look great! Not good but GREAT!

I want Hyundai ::::::(
Mitsubishi and Hundai are sure among the best. My fav. at least in non-German cars :) Otherwise VW and Audi and you need to look no further!!

Hyundai has such a wide range of offerings that it is capable of catering to all segments of the society and quality-wise, it's head and shoulders above our local three monopolists.

Hyundai has two manufacturing plants in India churning out 600K plus vehicles annually both for domestic consumption and export . I hope they get a chunk of Pakistan market as well .

Why not Dewan motors try to assemble Hyundai Elentra or Accent in pakistan these two cars will break the backbone of Japanese 3 giants

I remember listening to Anand mahindra in a TV discusison, In which he was talking about the difficulties in getting Indian vehicles to Pakistan...... .But he mentioned one more thing...... We can get in to pakistan thru China or other countries.......Now i know he was serious when he said that.....

One big Indian company is already in Pakistan. Tata in public transport sector. They were there through Koreans

All the more reason for Indian junta to pressurise Modi to resolve Kashmir and Water issue amicably with Pakistan.

We are pressurising him. Hence, the claim now to P o K is being made even more strident.

True. It is a subsidiary of Mahindra. I guess this will mean some indirect business in Pakistan by Indian Mahindra. Lets see how it develops from this start. I hope it is good.

It will make sense for them to manufacture in Pakistan and push it across the border here. Though, this will need major negotiation on the part of the Pak government to reduce the import tax of auto into India. Also, it will need to be reciprocal to allow Indian auto component manufacturers to supply to Pak plants. This will increase efficiencies in both countries.

Only if we had those kind of relations!! :(
With unresolved issues between Pakistan and India this is unlikely to happen, SADLY. Else you can just imagine what it could have been!!
