Developments and Turkish operations in Libya

Not so easily. Egypt has is own problem with Ethiopia, they will mostly fight over Nile dam.
If Egypt invest too much in Hatar, maybe Turkey will gifts some drone to Ethiopia.....

But the problem is Sisi, the man is dictator who didn't hesiate to sell Egypt lands to SA, or its sea to Greece....his interest (power, money, survy....) would always prime over Egypt interest. So Sisi not wanting a democracy in Libya (election will most likely win by MB like in Egypt) will push to ignore Egypt interest over his own interest.

In Egypt the MB won the elections, but In Libyan 2014 elections the MB lost but wouldnt accept the defeat.

In 2014, the violence and war make the participation to be 18%.....some cities didn't even vote. So it natural for the parlement (and not only the MB but whole parlement) to want another election. But yeah, if they enough stupid to make an election during insecurity, they should accept the result.

Maybe someone have more info about this ?

Egypt, a.k.a the country of perfectly lined up military hardwares  They still didn't learned anything from their wars with Israel :hitwall:
That's only if an enemy does a preemptive strike to cripple them. The line up is just sheer show off.

But it still bothers me that GNA isn't ready for next step. I know we have to be patient.

With the recent tensions with France, I wonder why Turkey don’t recognize the Algerian genocide given that they now have a foothold in North Africa?

I know it doesn’t mean much but it gives a message to France that they aren’t afraid.

Wait, I thought we did- even our foreign minister talked about it when arguing with a french journalist back in a NATO meeting in France- if we don't, now is the right time to correct a mistake...

Turkey is not hostile to the Egyptian and Arab people, but they make sure that Turkish army can wiped off Egyptian army from the map in 1 week if they make something wrong. Maybe they could hurt us a bit, but they would be the ones who won the war. Maybe even AL SISI, the dictator, would lose the power in Egypt.

But Turkey will not start this war first.

Turkey insists such things be left to historians. Don’t mix it up with politics.

Its a shame really. I respect that atleast Sisi shows some concern for minorities in an otherwise conservative society but he has completely destroyed Egyptian sovereignty by aligning himself with the Gulf Arabs states, going as far as to give historical Egyptian islands of Tiran to Saudi-Arabia. Such a shame, we could have been allies on paper. Despite having secular traditions we have a Islamist authoritarian dipshit ruling our country and they have a ruthless dictator that care very little about his people's wellbeing.

I dont hate Egyptians at all and dont think anyone here should at the end of the day. This is quite an unfortunate circumstances we find ourselves in. I honeslty was hoping we could have formed some sort of alliance/partnership with Egypt for the longest of times, but that was all personal preferences and ideals.

Well discrimination against copts is more or less the same as it was during Morsi/Mubarak era
Just because their patriarch pose for photo op with pharaoh Sisi it doesn’t mean copts are spared of humiliation
They still need permission for building church egyptian army is forced to spend its resources by providing escort during religious rituals...
