And now "the ceasefire is urgent". I don't have time to list western countries who has been silent for a year and started to speak since last week ago in favor of ceasefire amid GNA advances.
The Americans are opportunist on this one. For them the only thing important is the future Libyan authority not to fall in Russian hands because NATO will wake up with Russia on its southern flank. In the beginning they worked with Haftar but after Haftar receiving heavy support from Russia and the GNA return back in the fight with Turkish support they again change sides. The US is not concerned which of the leaders will rule as long as it doesn't serves Russia's interests. If Haftar brake up with the Russians and somehow again start to claim victory I am sure that we are going to see how they change their politics again. As long as it's anti-Russia and pro-NATO government it's not a problem for them.

The west wants a ceasefire so they can play both sides and then bring in a weak government. A government which you can manipulate any way you want, so for the next 30 years Libya will be a weak state. Each side will give funds to different political parties to play dirty in Libya.
