no not really : there is a difference in greece dna.. they mostly lack westasian and central asian dna and they overlap with the balkans thats what happens everywhere kazakhs for excample overlap with mongols, finno/urgic, baltic east european uzbek have than again more westasian input you will also find some chinese input up to turks in afghanistan turks in turkey have also greek/south italian (one group) , westasian, arab input than in lower cases you will find some jewish input up to 10% in some people and it is not important where they came from from black sea over anatolia to izmir the input is present.. than you will also find Italian, scottish/welsh (you will also find this in uyghur people) some north african input specially jewish the more you go to the east the more people will have some arabic fingerprints so basically there are traces of people who have lived in this area and neighboring area..

I do not know sri lanka and its history but I can bet its an island, its not interesting for outsiders so not many folks went there and people did not marry outsiders and they should be extreem less fingerprints of other folks.. thats my guess only

you wont find pure people only on these lonelydeep forests people or islands and in some incest areas

Russia is in a tough spot.. they are willing to warm up to turkey and create a bulwark against west.. but have to be sensitive to their orthodox christian base ...
they should actively get greeks and turks to peace table and kick french out of this .. french are trying their best to control libya by opening a front against turks using greeks

I don't know so much about genetics but I do know that Turkish people at least in European part of the country are pretty much Greeks and yeah it's also true everyone mixes with neighbouring population. That's a no brainer.

Honestly I don't know so much about Sri Lankan genetics. I guess I look like any other South Asian and often get confused for Indian but I am guessing SL population is also mixed. Even though it's an island, it was connected to major trade routes since 2500 years and was a part of maritime silk road.
