What's new

Deterrence didn’t fail during stand-off with India:

There may be limits to ‘sharam’ or ‘ghairat’ but no limits to ‘begharati’ when it comes to Indiots. I mean you shouldn’t be here after what we did to you but like I said biggest beghairats of the world.

No doubt.

Some journos are simply idiots.. They are not even qualified to the be peons but in Pakistan can become journos.

Unfortunately most of these news channals have adopted indian form of reporting. Just check how they scream their lungs out and repeating one sentence a dozen times. I remember old PTV was not like that, they reported calmly and seemed way professional, compared to sabzi machli seller become reporters of today.

Really this style... It is such contrast from rest of the world and even PTV and radio Pakistan. They play music unnecessarily.

If it has to be said then, at the very least, they made a dent in our deterrence strategy by sending their planes into our airspace and calling our bluff. Also their actions are encouraging us to spend excessively on defence at the expense of human development and this is destroying the economy. We will fall even further behind.

India sending it's planes into Pak airspace hasn't lowered nuclear thresholds of Pakistan. Quite the contrary, OP Swift Retort has actually 'increased' the space for limited conventional war below Pakistan's nuclear thresholds. .... Now we are more confident than ever of our conventional war-fighting abilities ... It is by no means 'a dent in our deterrence strategy'

Thanks for confirming my point. Pak’s nukes were till 26th indeed creating semblance of deterrence. India upped the escalation ladder, bombed mainland Pak and called your nuke bluff. On 26th night/27th Pak had the choice of flexing nuke muscle to re-establish nuke deterrence. It did not.

Whether Pak wants to engage conventionally in future first then panic and threaten with nukes later is moot point. India will hit targets inside Pak controlled territory if it deems necessary.

Modi has got reelected!! It’s the biggest deterrence for he’s under those 50 folks - Marwari, Parsi, Jain etc. - who control 70% of India’s wealth...

After the capitulation of the IAF at the hands of PAF that led to Modi’s blank threats to use missiles, deterrence definitely came into the play....

It’s worth to have nukes and missiles even if means to “eat grass”!!! They instill terror into the hearts of the Assahabus Sair (companions of the fire)....
Trees for Mig-21

The closure/blocking of the GT Road by Indian troops (and/or the Cold Start) had been Pakistan's nuclear threshold even before 26 Feb, not 'losing a few trees or crows' in mountain forests. You are free to try call our nuke bluff anytime you want by touching our nuclear threshold.

Try again

India will hit targets inside Pak controlled territory if it deems necessary.

And get humiliated again, like Feb 27...!!?

If there was a trophy for being the most shameless nation ever in the world, India would never lose the contest.

I doubt you have a thorough knowledge of your nation or even where it stands today :disagree:.

And in return got violated. India won't be pulling another move like that anytime soon, whereas the militancy in Kashmir shall continue.

Without cross border support, IA will ensure militancy has a quick death in the valley.

Post Pulwama unless Pak gets some unlikely support from Uncle Sam, Pak has already played its last card. India will make sure it stays that way.
