Since Islam doesn't condone rape and this clown is saying it does, he is defaming Islam.
Therefore, defamation of religion seems an apt charge (among others) to shut him up.

Unfortunately these kinda morons do have a certain amount of conservative constituency. Appropriate response by the majority would be to socially boycott these kind of individuals so that they lose their standing in the society.

It's not only the mullahs. Happens in all religions. I guess it is prominence of these mullahs which makes it stick out in Islam. Good move by the authorities in charging this freak tho. If all Muslim nations act swiftly in dealing with cracks like this, Islam will be saved from heretics of this sort who defame, blasphemise and slander it with their own sick interpretation of this beautiful religion
