Destination Beijing: India to Test 'China-Killer' Nuke Missile

. . .
Perception is a relative term ain't it?

and it matters how you are perceived by countries whom you plan to target and they too just happen to have the same capability.

The newspaper quoted here is not even Indian, it's American, and frequently has many anti India articles.

Over almost three decades, The National Interest, founded in 1985 by Irving Kristol and Owen Harries, has displayed a remarkable consistency in its approach to foreign policy. It is not, as the inaugural statement declared, about world affairs. It is about American interests

The usual chini trolls and Pak trolls will comment with out noticing this...

Damn our american friends are enjoying the term "China killer" here.
Man mein laddoo fut rahe hain unke. :woot::woot:

I dont like this term btw, no arms and ammunition should be country specific.

I agree, that is where my first point become relevant..... You cannot decide a nation's intention based on few headlines of news papers....... Indian media is known to take things out of context.... slowly and steadily population is aware of it.... You can see an example in in this forum itself, where Indian members criticise the news papers.....

Indian govt or its agencies doesnt go by what is been printed in news paper....... Yes A5 can be considered as a china specific missile, which ever one knows...... That doesnt mean that we are gonna attack once this missile is operational..... Every country need to have weapons which is capable of defending itself..... India has its in A5......

I didnt realise it is an american one.... But then wait for few more hours you can see headlines worse than that, but this time it will be coming from Indian media

I dont understand the point of this, every single media is super jingoistic, American, Chinese Pakistani media...do I even have to tell you. Get over it.

India in this respect is actually far, far better. Even our govts version of events will not be believed straight up and be ruthlessly questioned to reveal sources by Praveen "highly placed sources" Swami of terror boat fame, stop being so. Stop being so apologetic.

@nair - Your media is what creates your perception.

LOTS more  just search.

To an extent i agree, and you should know the number of media houses available in India...... To give you an idea i will give you some stats from my State.... .I live in a state which has a population of close to 30 million which is less than 3% of Indian population.

We have about 35 satellite channels barring few everyone of them has their own current affair programs...... and about 9 of them are 24/7 news channels. Other than this we have about 12 news papers on local language, and 5 English dailies....Online news blogs are plenty and i have no count on that......

Now if this is the case of a small state of the size of a "Karela" Imagine what happens in other states...... My neighboring state has 3 times the number of channels of our state...... The list goes on like that.....

But if you could look at the Indian source of threads in PDF, more than 50% of them will be coming from times group..... We all know what is their strength.....

China does not have the same capability, but by far having the superior capability.

China can target the entire world since 1981, while India hasn't developed this capability yet.

It is not being apologetic, But then you need to accept that there are media houses who loves sensationalising......I have clarified my point in my reply to horus.....

They exist everywhere, I dont see the point of bringing that here because the subject of discussion is the OP and has been proven to be American.

What the Indian media may or may not do in future is irrelevant in this thread. Anyway as far as this test goes till now all the headlines have been about the test itself and Dr.Chanders farewell.
