Ashok is an Aap supporter. He has to constantly tell everyone how India is not doing well and blame Modi indirectly. Once you prove that things are not right you are indirectly asking for a change. They think Congress is down and the only challenge is Modi, once Modi is out Kejriwal will emerge. What they do not realize ie he cannot even govern small limited state like Delhi.

You totally remind me of people who talk about India but has zero idea. I will in Us and I understand India better than you. In India people do not want to use internet the way we use here. They mostly do basic browsing only. It's not as intensive, so they do not like to pay for high speed plan. The average drops as people are not buying higher speed plans. Since people are not buying suppliers are not doing much. This will change soon as after jio data plans are getting cheaper and people will be using high speed. At least do some basic analysis.

Speed is more than requirement- Now with reliance 4G monthly subscription is free- yes free It has been free for almost 9 months- and rest of the companies are trying hard to compete- so there is a sudden increase of speed but most people just waste data or have no use-

Most of the people are using 4G internet but they don't use It much- data is usually wasted, and subscription is almost free-

JIO 4G is like tuning a FM radio station 100kms away. If you get it all right, the speed can be as good as 40mbps download and 7-8mbps upload speed (have their JIOFI device..and it's signal strength is better than handphone). I don't know...Why JIO is not improving their indoor coverage. Idea provides a constant 14mbps speed. Before JIO, they all charged 4G like selling gold in grams.

We are still slow by global standards, but we are also very poor by global standards.

Singapore Average income is 51,855 USD

India average income is 1,751 USD

Average Singaporean is 30 times richer than India.

Singapore Average 4G speed is 17.4 Mbps

India average speed 4G speed is 5.1 Mbps

So Singapore speed is only 3.5 times faster than India.


So if you look at the disparity, we are actually quite good. We get MORE VALUE FOR MONEY in our 4G speed.


Another good news is that due to Reliance Jio, for LTE speed, India ranks 15th in the World.

Singapore is 46 Mbps, not 17 as you claim.

Is it dick measuring contest going on here. Because who cares if your speed is higher than mine as long as it meets my requirement. I hate these discussions where people come and say hey you know I get better speed than you. The Internet on mobile is not a priority in India. People barely use the internet on mobile like they do in USA.
