" Three years ago when Newsweek described Pakistan as the most dangerous place on earth—the enemies of Pakistan gleefully pointed to the Newsweek article as in indictment for all things Pakistani. Todays exoneration and redefinition of Pakistan is just the beginning of the new descriptions that await the new Pakistan–rising out of a wet flood.

The most resilient nation on earth is also the bravest nation on the planet. The Youth dividend will allow it to rise to the highest pinnacles of glory.

The most resilient nation on earth is also the bravest nation on the planet. The Youth dividend will allow it to rise to the highest pinnacles of glory.…a lot has changed since NEWSWEEK called Pakistan the world’s most dangerous nation three years ago.

The brave Pakistan are united as ever, rebuilding the country. Every street corner is collecting funds. Every house is a collection center for goods and services. Every youth is a volunteer, collecting goods or money and every vehicle is a transportation device to get relief goods to those in needs. The TV pictures do not paint the correct picture of rebuilding and rejuvenation.

This hour of calamity is also the biggest opportunity for us as a nation. If we can and inshallah we will stick together and survive these though times we can rise respectfully and peacefully among the comity of nations. One step at a time....

A nation is defined by the struggles it goes through in order to truly become a nation. It is during times of turmoil that the best in the people of a country comes out. Pakistan has faced and will face many problems and now its fate is upto the people who reside in it. The people have held the country together for a long time and im sure with continued resilience Pakistan will continue along. I see many here calling for revolutions but a country is never made from a revolution of any sort. Slow and steady economic, social and political change is needed and im sure the strong and vibrant youth of this nation will be able to bring along that change sooner or later. As an Indian, I want to see a strong Pakistan as that means a strong South Asia and a strong south Asian identity. From all my heart, I wish you Good Luck :)

Good luck, things would be a lot better for Pakistan and also India if the region was stable. And think more about developing the countries.

The Pakistani nation will come out of this stronger and better. Long Live Pakistan and its people.

exactly. despite unending troubles you guys have a history of coming out stronger each time. inshallah you will clean up this mess soon, good luck to you guys

We will not only come out of this mess but we will also clean our corrupt mess, both in civilic and military establishment and wonderful political sphere. Furthermore, this war HAS BENEFITED the countries in the region. After this war, new allies will be formed which were once considered an enemy.

The immediate goal right now is to bring Imran Khan to the power.

I dont think it has benefited, maybe India would have this economic expansion back in the 80s if we were just completely worrying about each other. I think India and Pak would have be much more developed by know..

And are you talking about Imran Khan the cricket guy in power?!? :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

Pakistan have faced adversity after adversity, but they have stood strong, optimistic that they would turn the tide, and today MashAllah, Pakistan is stronger than it has ever been in its history. Despite the incompetent governments in the past, the country has faced all challenges when it could have disintegrated easily, and has become stronger after every challenge. Pakistan can hopefully expect a very bright future because of the strength and resilience of the nation, the people of Pakistan. I'm so proud of Pakistan, and so proud of my Pakistani roots and everything Pakistan. Ordinary Pakistanis love Pakistan more than they love themselves, and are willing to make any sacrifice for it, but aren't jingoistic in their love like "some other nations" are...
