I had aquila kit which was built. Took me over 1 month part time of work. It flew nicely and was able to get up to 6100m. I opted for a 2 seater. It cost me R30,000 back in 1995. Same price as a toyota corolla.

I personally think that there would be NO any single person on earth, WHO don't wanna to FLY . . . BUT . . . most of us consider it just a "Dream" which can never come true for a layman . . . BUT . . . infact it is not true . . . !
I do accept that Designing and Manufacturing a highly sopgisticated advace Fighter or Civilian Aircraft is very much complex phenomenon . . . BUT . . . considering to design and build an "Amature/Home-Built Ultralight Aircraft" is NOT a very much complex phenomenon . . . as hundereds of "Non Aeronautical as well as Mechanical Engineers" have already designed, build, and flew their OWN personal ultralight aircraft . . !

In this thread, I would discuss (as well as invite all other enthusiats to particiapte) so that WE can encourage as well as start/promote "Designing, Building/Manufacturing and Flying" Ultralight category of Aircrafts in Pakistan.
