Yeah me too.I would not put a dime on HTC.Because whoever uses it tells me it has great speakers.And my reaction is "wow!! You like your SMARTPHONE because it has great speakers???" Lol.
I havent touched S5...but yes trying my hand often on hubby's note-3.I luv its skin, huge screen and the fact that it is much lighter.The cool edit features it has,makes me really jealous.

Yeah, HTC has benefitted quite a bit from Beats Audio, & some customers are fond of the audio quality provided by devices like HTC One. In general though, it all depends on an individual's needs. In my opinion, HTC really needs to improve Sense UI, provide timely software updates to their customers, & build a better ecosystem around their products.

The Note 3 has got some impressive features, but it would be more interesting to see what the next model has to offer. In fact, there are already a number of rumors circulating about the next iPhone & Galaxy Note device. What do you think of them?

It is somewhat true that one of the primary changes HTC phones with Beats Audio enabled introduce is a modification in the equalizer's settings that give the impression of improved sound quality. People obsessed with sound quality do notice an improvement with Beats Audio devices, & if I recall correctly, there are some hardware modifications made to HP laptops that include Beats Audio. Regardless, from the marketing perspective, the inclusion of Beats Audio will attract customers because of its image & reputation. The other factor that improves sound quality in the HTC One is the presence of dual speakers on the front. The placement of the speakers alone makes a noticeable difference compared to devices like the Galaxy S4, whose speaker is placed on the back of the device.

I have heard it.
The speaker is indeed very good but not the software.

I am obsessed with sound,have opened the only thread on this site on earphones.but yeah if ur recording is bad it does improve quality

Well about iphones,I heard they're coming up with bigger screens.Wow!! If thats true my next phone also will be an iPhone.Btw whats about the "smudge free" feature?? What is it??
Another rumour is about the transparent background behind the apps.I am really not sure how that feature is gonna help.
But I think their foremost priority should be to improve their text editing feature.I constantly face issues while selecting the word and editing it.Worst is iphone is adaptable.As in if i have used a wrong spelling in the past then it stores the spelling in its memory and suggests the same wrong spelling along with the correct one.But one advantage of this adaptability feature is that now my iPhone knows a lot of hindi words which I use very often on the forum to post shayaaris( dont laugh ) .

And note 4 it seems will have a "lite" version.And I did hear that passwords to unlock the phone would be based on handwriting recognition.Another feature is the 3 sided view.Lets see how it works out. But am sure that note 4 will thinner than note 3.

Btw i think all these smartphones should give us a better front camera.All the selfies turnout soo horrible.

Well, the software's quality is debatable, & many people are fond of it. I guess it depends on the listener & some people may not be fond of Beats Audio's preset equalizer settings, but I am not obsessed with sound quality as long as it's decent. I don't think people have to deal with lots of bad recordings anymore unless the music is pirated. As far as headphones are concerned though, there are a number of competitors out there, including Bose & Panasonic, whose products might be worth investigating.

Interesting, I didn't know all of the rumors about the Note 4. I don't know about you, but I think a Google Edition of the Note 4 with all of its custom features would be awesome.
