Dera Bugti attack kills 5, Chinese engineers remain safe

JAFFARABAD: A transport van of Chinese engineers was attacked resulting in the death of at least five persons and eleven wounded, while the Chinese engineer remained safe, Geo News reported.

Reports said that Chinese engineers’ team was on way to inspect the Kachchi Canal, when it was attacked, which resulted in the death of five persons including three security men, while eleven persons were wounded.

The injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital.

And the worst part is that two civilians killed were also Baloch. What a shame this so called nationalists are. But one thing is for sure no matter what happen not even an inch of land of Pakistan would be compromised. Not even an inch. Such attacks would give more moral backing to Pakistani govt to take action against these thugs.

This has also happened in the past but our Chinese friends are well aware of the game being played here. With FATA mopping up coming on head, the security forces should divert more attention towards Balochistan while at the same time continue with the development process.

We need to keep our head cool and don't do anything stupid. Continue with the development work and try to improve the level of governance in Baluchistan. We can take them out any day. If we can eliminate 3000 militants in swat then 500-600 militants in whole Baluchistan aren't a big threat. They are much easier to be eliminated than TTP in FATA.

Spending money on common people is an option but it will not solve our all problems.The attack took place on the people workingon development project,Barahamdagh is in Switzerland.The intelligence is after the farraris then how these attacks are carried out.
Development projects take years to complete but by negotiating with them can yield in months.One of my relative has just come from Balochistan visit,he says even common people hate our policies.
