First hand info by someone I know.
The car was stopped at Guard room. The driver and the guard had discussion for 30 secs so. The vehicle was very well identified that it was offical staff car. The driver showed him his airforce ID and also told to guard that the kids are sons of AVM Ather who were going to Bahria school. They have been using this entry gate for last three months.
The guard however did not allow them to use this gate. The driver insisted that childern are getting late for exams.
Driver slowly drove ahead and did not make u turn. The guard very comfortably turned back aimed and fired 3 shots straight on to vehicle. The bullet passed through the trunk of car, crossed back seat and hit the boy (who was sitting on front seat) in his back.
Boy went through two major ops. The bullet had damaged his spinal cord. First day there was no movement in his lower body. Thanks God after second ops yesterday his condition is Ok and he is now out of danger.
It incident was so unfortuniate that whole Aie staff was in shock and angry.
I myself saw the video which was very clear that the vehicle was stopped and well identified. Vehicle and occupants were well identified and the driver was not running away. Neither he was entring any sensitive area.
