The Danish government on Friday defended plans for police to search asylum seekers' luggage for valuables and cash after they prompted international outrage and drew comparisons to Nazi Germany.

"I can see that some foreign media are pouring scorn over (the fact) that we in the future may withdraw asylum seekers' valuables and demand that they should pay for their stay in asylum centres themselves," Integration Minister Inger Stojberg wrote on Facebook.

Reminds me of the last part of Martin's Song of Fire and Ice where the Jon Snow allows freefolk to enter but takes their valuables as payment.

Well look at the case from this point of view:

-They still need some "funding" from somewhere for those immigrants.
-Taking it from their own population without permission would also be "stealing" and thus be also "evil" and "disgraceful".
-Their population do actually participate in their elections, immigrants do not.


So as you can see, it actually is a wise idea to fund immigrants through the valuable goods they bring to their countries.

Those immigrants are not qualified to be "refugees" though, and the country itself did not invite them as well.

You cannot just forcefully make your way into a random county and demand that country to take care of you for the sake of humanity.

The UN convention on refugees was created in an era before mass air travel. Refugees couldn't choose where they live. Now they can and let's be honest, are you really a refugee if you went through twelve different peaceful countries until you found one you liked?

also clearly underlines that once you reach a safe country, your title of being a "refugee" becomes null and void.

If you go ahead to other countries just because you did not like the first country you landed on as a refugee, then you automatically become an economic immigrant.

A good ideea indeed.Those who have money should pay.They should also put them to work for shelter and food.They could clean the streets,do gardening,etc.

This is quite disgusting the countries are complaining about Refugees, while they have 10-80 Billion in reserves or who knows may be even 300 Billion.

Its just low life behavior

Humans you see their lowest form , when they fear their own bread will be taken away
