Democracy in India is a farce. Look at dynasty politics.

Yeah but we are a nation where only dynastic politics work. Father to son, son to grandson. We are not a democracy but a kingdom ruled by family rulers. Rahul Gandhi becomes the vice president the COngress there are 1000s of better and more experienced ones out there in congress.

Everything in India is imported seems like time has come to import better leaders.

Make democracy better. Why this dynastic issue is not discussed by your bollywood stricken media regularly? Make it a huge issue. Who has the guts to ask Gandhis these questions on their faces?

Mrs Gandhi started this dynastic politics and even rigged the inter part elections some say. But she is held in high esteem.

They are good left parties in your country, but you prefer to go to either dynasties or to religious right wingers.

Dynastic politics is bad as top leadership remains in certain families. But its as bad as famous lawyer or doctor's son inheriting the practice.

But how does that make the democracy a farce? Its people who choose who rules them. Like the kennedy family or junior - senior bush. Yes these people get advantage, but have to be chosen by the people.

The problem is with people themselves. People while voting think of religion caste creed and the pre election and post election benefits 'they' i.e. himself will get after the candidate gets elected. Muslims for Congress SC and ST for the one who will give more reservation and now it has come to depositing money in your account etc etc till everybody understands that the country can progress only by working together never can we really progress . You are the one electing these cunning bastards so enjoy the fruits.
