Delhi Pollution Monitoring thread post odd-even car system-DAY 2

Khujliwal Just wanted to use the odd even rule to gift new cars to his cronies
This aaptard bought 5 Maruti Dzires, 5 Ciaz and 5 Nanos to gift to his goons who were suffering because they only had either 1 car or 2 cars which were both even or odd

What else can be expected from a person who takes home more salary than PM and President combined
The average anual Household income of Delhi is Rs. 8 Lacs which includes all the wealthy Baniyas who voted for BJP
Khujliwal's has increased his Salary from 12 Lacs to 43 Lacs a year

In fact Khujliwal's income is now more than 12 times the income of people who voted him to power

Per se, the ‪#‎OddEvenPlan‬ is good on paper, but the way unfair exemptions are given, the way pollution from two-wheelers (which cause far more pollution) is ignored, the way tax-payer's money is being spent mindlessly, it smells a big scam into it!

At the least, this nautanki appears more like a drama to drive attention away from Jokepal, 400 % salary hike, support to corrupts and frauds like Tomar and Rajendra Kumar, being unable to fulfill promises like free Wifi, colleges, schools, failed clean Delhi mission and getting exposed in legitimizing Fascism in AAP etc.

This finding from India News indicates something of that sort... Frankly, this page does not believe India news very credible source of information, hence this page refrains to jump to conclusions based on this report alone.

But one thing is sure....

. .
As per the conservative estimates there are some 85 lakh vehicles in the NCT. Of these the exempted vehicles are: 1. 55 lakh two wheelers. 2. women driving alone or accompanied by kids under 12 3. Cars driven by the physically disabled 4. Hybrid and electric cars CNG vehicles 5.Cars with diplomatic and defense ministry license plates 6.Army and police vehicles 7. Some officials’ cars (including the president, vice president and prime minister’s convoys) 8.Transport department vehicles 9.Paramilitary forces 10. Members of Parliament 11.Chief Justice of India 12.Judges of India's Supreme Court, and high courts 13. Vehicles of registered lawyers, doctors and traders Taking the list of exempted vehicles to 70 lakh. So add to it 9 lakh vehicles who will come out on the street any given day So the final exemption is of 9 lakh vehicles which will be hitting the regular commuters on a regular basis and the farmers practising mechanized agriculture using tractors. #congratsdelhi :smokin:

10% vehicle reduction? Well, it is better than nothing, one small step in the right direction.

Not Really - Kejrudeen and his men bought new cars to make their commuting easy with - newly bought odd/even cars & now running this successful propaganda. Aam admi is facing repercussions because of this stupid move which not gonna last after 15th.

Their are other better alternatives but for Vote Bank - He's not gonna take those steps.

Dikhave Pe Mat Jao Apni Akal Lagao.

It just defeated the very purpose of this "odd-even scheme". Is there a restriction on new car purchase in place, something like new vehicle license auction or lottery similar to that in Shanghai and Beijing? If not, this scheme may not be a well thought out initiative, rather, merely a temporary measure. Good for the economy though.

@Kickstarter101

Since i am not from Delhi, can you tell me whats there in Dawrka that on normal days (assuming office traffic) the count is over 500 till afternoon yet on Saturday it still spiked till noon.

Assuming the vehicular traffic is lower by more than 50% then why around 11 Am to 12:20 PM the count is more than 50% (50% of say 507 should be 250 approx whereas count is 313-325 approx 30% above 250)

Are the PMI really bcz of only vehicles.?
Whats the reason for 195 count at 8:40 AM? Its too early for any substantial vehicular traffic to have exhaust fumes causing such a number.

Can anybody enlighten me on this? Delhites??

Its not working much. Most probable solution is forcingnearby cities entrants to use public transport. And barring personal vehicals on some roads which will have maximum impact and low public stress based on data.

Readings are definitely better after the odd-even implementation.Of course it is not a perfect solution, but someone had the balls to actually do something. That should be appreciated irrespective of your political leaning.

Also several monitoring stations set up across India, including Jodhpur,Jaipur,Patna,Agra,Gaya,Faridabad
